Dr. Feldbau is by far the best dentist I have ever met. Over the years I have tried many dentist, however none have been as consistently COMPETENT, compassionate, helpful, knowledgeable, respectful, and willing to work with someone like me. I am EXTREMELY FEARFUL of the dentist. I first saw Dr. Feldbau on an emergency basis Dec. 2010. His office squeezed me in the same day I called. I was anxious and frightened but was in desperate need of dental work. My first recollection when meeting Dr. Feldbau, after blurting out how frightened I was, is of him pulling up a chair along side me and saying, "Okay we will work together on your fear" "Can you tell me what you are most afraid of". We talked and he became my dentist that day. I am so grateful he is there. Over the past 9 months I have been to his office for a root canal, he didn't do it, but he was there while it was done. An extraction which he did and there was no pain, swelling or side effects. He has done bridge work and they feel like my own teeth. What I would think an implant is like. We started today on caps for my front teeth. The front office staff and his assistant are all easy to speak with, friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. They make the office atmosphere nice.

I know this doctor: 9 months

Unhelpful. The only positive was the nice receptionist. The hygienist was poor. And I saw the dentist for 3 minutes TOTAL.

In my opinion, he is interested in maximizing cost rather than doing what is best for the patient. I found him patronizing.
