Read Reviews for Dr. Vladislav Kamanin
Dr. Kamanin was just OK. He cleaned my teeth, but he kept wanting me to come in for a deep cleaning. Now, it is possible that I might have needed, but couldn't he have waited until I was over the general cleaning. Nope, he asked me to come in the day he cleaned. Since he only deep cleans one side at a time, the day I came in for big needle shots to numb the pain, he wanted me to schedule for the other side of my mouth. I never called back because it just was too much all at once. I do have insurance so a good amount was covered.
Bed side manner was pleasant though I had a little trouble understanding him through his accent.
Front office was efficient but not the friendliest. However, big props for taking care of all the insurance on my behalf. That could easily have been a nightmare.
Chair side was decent. Though after he used the cleaning/gloss gritty powder, he forgot to floss it out and it was driving me crazy all day.

It took this dentist 20 minutes (after making me wait way longer than 40 minutes for my FIRST visit) to collect over $400 because they did not understand my excellent insurance coverage. Three weeks later, I'm still waiting for a refund. Why do they insist on immediate payment, but can't offer the same courtesy to their patients?
I DO NOT recommend this dentist and am considering other remedies and complaint procedures.

Dentist was nice and helped me out alot. Had a few struggles with my insurance paying them. Instead of tracking it down with my insurance, they quickly billed me.

My experience with Dr. Kamanin was entirely unpleasant.
First, he wanted me to sign a form, before my check-up saying that he could automatically bill/perform any procedures that he saw fit without talking to me about it before hand. When I objected, the nurses told me that they wouldn't clean my teeth unless I signed the form, but they relented when I started to get up to leave. I should have left right then.
By the end of the appointment Dr. Kamanin told me that I had nine cavities (none of which other dentists found when I went for second opinions), and tried to bully me into getting extra work done.
As for the positive review posted above this one, the broken english suggests to me that this was either written by the Dr. or his assistant, both of whom have thick Russian (?) accents and less than perfect english.
