Richard Miller is contemptuous, judgmental, unprofessional, opportunistic dentist-like person. Keep your guard up and get pricing for everything before you allow him (and his staff) near you. You will be robbed otherwise.
About Front Desk: Dim but not unpleasant. If you do not care about accuracy and efficiency, they should suffice for you.

Dr. Miller kind, caring, compassionate dentist.
Hygenists/assistants are great with kids and adults.
Office staff (front desk and billing) are COMPLETELY incompetent. This will cost you money.
They do not verify insurance prior to plan of care being implemented. Know all the ins and outs of your policy and coverage before you go, because they are completely unhelpful in that area.
There are lots of wonderful practices in the Rockville area, where you don't have to choose between good clinical care and competent office staff. Save yourself the trouble and find another practice.
Overall, not worth the hassle.
About Hygienist: Gentle, patient, thorough. But great hygenists are a dime a dozen in Rockville, Bethesda.

Dr. Miller is a very thorough dentist and he keeps a very clean and professional office. Service is always friendly and one big plus is the new computer hookup to the xray machine so the xray is stored on the computer . The xray can be viewed immediately and images can be inverted to help with diagnosis. I've used his services for over 10 years and I am very satisfied with his services. The only downside is that he is not part of any PPO/HMO plan so anything beyond basic services can be expensive.

Dr. Miller has been treating my adult handicapped son for over five years. Everyone has been knowledgable and patient. very good reminding of appts and good working with mentally disabled people. Very pleased with service and personnel.
