I have been a dentist in Lexington for 21 years- Dr. Child did my orthodontics and has treated three of my children with outstanding results!

My son is a patient of Dr. Childs. It is MY OPINION, and that of a dentist I got a 2nd opinion from, that he UNNECESSARILY put braces on my 7 year old, who had only lost FOUR teeth!! Not only had he not lost enough teeth, but he had 2 abscess, and 4 stainless steel crowns that should have been extracted prior to putting them on. WHY would you put braces on a CHILD who obviously lacks the supervision/self discipline to have proper oral hygiene for this type of treatment? I had NO input in this decision, it was my ex wife, the ONLY input I got, was ME putting in $800.00 in his pocket!! Like my fortune cookie tonight said: "Much metal in mouth, means much money in Dr Child's pocket!"
About Front Desk: office staff horrendous!! I had to wait 3 months to get a copy of the receipt for my $800.00 payment to them.... THEN it was sent to my EX WIFE!! EPIC FAIL!! (I won't even touch the rudeness and lack of phone manners by the front desk staff)
