One *. Too hyper, poor communication to the patient what he will do next, far too expensive for the crummy work he does.
About Front Desk: His wife is very friendly, still the office time to do anything is ridiculous.

I was a patient at Halboth's for about 10 years and finally realized he was a hack after reading reviews on this site. I had a filling that fell out and he quickly diagnosed that I needed a crown inserted and a replacement filling was out of question. I never seen him move faster to get the procedure started. I asked him for out of pocket costs before he started anything. He ignored my request and took the X-ray with in minutes. I litterally had to get out of the chair before he could numb me up for the drilling requirements. I was skeptical of his diagnosis and visited another local dentist and had the filling replaced. It's unfortunate to say but his hours of operation is limited due to the amount of patients he has and the patients he does have he obviously isn't looking out for this overall well being. When I called to cancel my cleaning appointment his staff put him on the phone and he started screaming at me. This guy is a real professional!

Halboth fraudulently diagnosed that a 2010 crown provided by the patient’s previous dentist did not cover the tooth and that the tooth would “rotted out” within a few years. When the patient indicated that Delta only covered a new crown every 5 years, Halboth said “you won’t have a tooth in 5 years.” Halboth recommended immediate replacement by himself and submitted a pre-approval claim to the patient’s insurance company. The patient submitted the case to peer review and met with three MDA peer review dentists, which after examining the crown and X-ray, concluded that the crown was sound. Halboth’s office never verified the benefits available under the patient’s insurance plan and began taking numerous sets of x-rays. Insurance did not pay for the 1 every 5 years and patient was billed. When the patient offered to pay for half of the X-ray, she was informed that she's lucky not to have been billed $35 for the copy sent to peer review. The office also threatened to take the patient to small claims court even though the patient never said that she was not going to pay the bill. The office also overbilled Delta for the services performed.

Double billed. Billed for procedures that were not covered. Dentists is high strung and talks to himself. Works on more than one patient at a time so he runs between rooms, so plan on being there at least half a day. Facility and equipment is outdated and dirty.
About Hygienist: Not sure if his wife is a licensed hygentist and she cleans your teeth in about 10 minutes. The other hygienist in the office are very good.

After having to attend a few different dentists due to moving we were very impressed with this office. They were very friendly and welcoming serving in a family-type atmosphere which helped to eliminate any fear.
Dr. Halboth was very thorough, gentle and explained everything he was doing prior to each step.
We would highly recommend this dentist to others.
About Hygienist: The hygienist was also very thorough and explained steps very clearly. We were treated in a very kind manner as valued customers which was refreshing from other dental offices we have been to in the past.

He was very hyper and sloppy. They NEVER discussed the prices. Went to him because insurance said going to a dentist in the program would be less money out of pocket.HA!HA!It was almost double out of pocket with him. I would never recommend him to anyone. I could have had a crown done for 450 out of pocket and I ended payoing them 800 now tell me how I saved Plus they never told me what my portion was just came in the middle and said I had to give them 800 right then. The crown was done terible and I am still having problems a year later. It's black around my gum and still bleeds I know something has to be done but I WILL NOT go to him. He charges outrages prices for the quality of work.

I should have listened to my friends and my gut feelings. I am so regretful for taking my family and giving this dentist so much business. Everything about them is so absurd- from the outdated decor to the ridiculous way they overbook their patients because they are so greedy. A visit that should last no more than 1/2 hour can take 2 hours because of the comical way the only doctor bounces from room to room. Be very careful about their billing procedures- I caught them overbilling my insurenace company and they are already more expensive than the standard dentist. Definatly not a place I recommend. Do yourseves a favor and go to another professional real dentist.

This is the most hyper dentist I have ever been to. He does not take the time to explain anything to his patients. The office staff are the most unprofessional people I have ever dealt with. The only positive thing about the office are the hygentists. I would not reccommend this dentist to anyone.
