I’m DONE. I’ve been a faithful patient for YEARS. Never complaining when they inevitably hit me with the “you have a remaining balance”, because they only gave me an estimated charge the last time. I had an appointment on Saturday. I called 1 1/2 - 2 hours before my appointment and tried to explain that I had outpatient surgery the previous day. I was struggling to recover from the anesthesia this time. There had been complications so I was under longer than expected and I had a horrible sore throat from the tube and a painfully dry nose as well. I even admitted that I would’ve canceled much earlier, but the procedure was moved Thursday to Friday literally at the last second and I was so consumed with that, I didn’t have a chance to call on Thursday. The woman couldn’t care less and let me know that it would be a FIFTY dollar cancellation charge and then said you may as well pay your remaining balance, we underestimated your last bill. I was livid, but didn’t have the energy to show it. She was very matter of fact and showed no grace for a patient who brings her whole household, usually never cancels, and always pays the bills. If this is how Sellers allows his faithful patients to be treated, we will go elsewhere.

About Hygienist: They do a decent job but I always request not to get one hygienist. She’s very nice but shows no mercy on your mouth. You will be taking pain pills the rest of the day after a visit with her.

I was send to Cory Sellers by his office partner Dr. Holzinger (my original dentist) due to my severe TMJ. I was told that Cory Sellers was a new Oral Surgeon. Only later found out that Cory Sellers never was, nor is he now, an Oral Surgeon. Paid $2343 (with dental discount plan) upfront to have 1 extraction (got an immediate infection and was given antibiotics), had to have 2 teeth filed down (were not smoothed out and cut my tongue for several weeks), had a cleaning done from hell (gave natural childbirth to 5 children and would chose childbirth over this cleaning experience any old day), a filling which was not done right (had to be re-done and I was charged again). Wanted/needed dentures but during the wax fitting (they did NOT fit, teeth were 2 sizes too big and were crooked), when I started to cry and told the dentist that the teeth are crooked, he got mad at me and sarcastically replied: " It's not the dentures that are crooked, it's your face". I do NOT, nor have I ever had, a crooked face. That was it for me. For the few little things he did perform on my mouth (assistants did most of the work), I was charged $610.00 and the dentist just kept the other $1724.00 of my deposit, refusing to give me back my money

About Front Desk: Very friendly, until I was accompanied by my adult child (I was in severe pain) who had her arm around me to comfort me, to which the front desk lady exclaimed with a wink :" Very nice friend you have there". No, it was NOT my "nice or special friend (I knew what she tried to imply), and I had to tell her that this was my adult daughter!!!

About Hygienist: Either she didnt like me or she was the devils twin sister...I am 57 years old and have never in my life experienced worse pain than with that woman. I literally had to stop her (and I have only 5 natural teeth in my mouth) for I could not bear the pain

I have been coming to Dr. Holzinger's practice for about 35 years, besides Dr. Holzingers excellent care the staff also kept us wanting to come back. Now that Dr. Sellers has taken over the practice the excellent care has not missed a beat. Most of the great staff is still there and employees that have since been added are just as great! At this stage of my life when I decided on some implants, Dr. Sellers helped direct me to another great doctor who meant my needs along with Dr. Sellers and his staff helping me along this new path. As Dr. Sellers is monitering my care he always goes over and above to make sure that were are no problems. My daughters,and grandkids are still going to him.
