Although he is kind and fatherly like a Grandpa, his prices go up every year and the staff has failed to tell me when I make my yearly appointment. I go to pay, and surprise, surprise, it's higher than the previous year; not the tooth work, the doctor's fee.
A couple years ago, he told me I had eleven cavities due to calcium loss from pregnancy. He showed me the x-rays and asked, "See these cavities?" I said no I did not, the tooth looked solidly white. I went to another dentist, the new one said I only had 7. Dr. Rathgeber often recommends work that does not need to be done. This is dishonest, in my opinion.

Excellent facilities but very expensive.
Always says some need work need to be done which looks suspicious..
St. Louis needs more dentists. Bring them on from India, China, Philippines or wherever.. Need more competition...
