Ithink dr. Swizer is a great doctor . He saved my front teeth when another denist said I should have them pulled out and only one had to be fixed. He is always in a good mood very sweet person and caring I would not go to any other denist

He is the only Dentist that I ever went back to twice. He is compassionate, personal, most important he listens when I tell him I am in pain. I recommend him to everyone I know.

Dr. Switzer is fantastic as is his help. His office is in the ugliest building in the Central West End, but he is conveniently located to many residents there is just does a wonderful job. I would recommend him to anybody.

I used tom switzer several years ago when my two front teeth were broken. I eventually lost one and had a root canal/crown placed on the other. Unfortunately, I was forced to choose tom switzer due to my parents' insurance. To make a long story short, I am still paying my tom switzer's mistakes and negligence. My crown(s) took three attempts until they were even remotely acceptable, and even those that I eventually decided to accept are obviously fake and in fact one of them is approximately 1/16" above the other (using the bottom of the teeth as reference). After years of problems, I am now in the process of having to have the implant removed (not a small or inexpensive procedure) due to tom switzer stripping out the internal threads. In addition, the tooth on which tom switzer performed a root canal was also a victim of his malpractice. tom switzer did NOT properly place "the post" inside of the empty root canal, therefore the crown was not properly guarded against infection and I now have an abcess (sp?) that requires the root canal to be performed a second time and very well may require additional surgery.

I developed serious periodontal disease under his care for my braces. He completely neglected me and did not diagnose the problem until the braces were removed. Once we found out, he tried to treat it himself instead of refering me to a professional periodontist. The treatment was too little and too late. As a consequence of the disease, I lost my two molars. It also cost me a lot of money and pain. I'm still fighting the disease today, trying to get implants. His chair-side manner is cold and distant. Some of his hygienists were quite rude. I was a poor student when this happened. If I had known better, I would never stayed with him.
