The office staff is always friendly and helpful. Dr. Waxman is very knowledgable and caring.

About Hygienist: The hygienist is great. She is so gentle that I feel like I am going to fall asleep while she is cleaning my teth. She is also very thorough.

Dr. Waxman was very nice and very polite. I could tell this was an important part of how the office presents itself to its patients.

About Hygienist: All the staff was very polite, but the person who cleaned my teeth did not do a good job at all. I went home and looked in the mirror and could see tartar all around the edges of my teeth (in the corners). I consider teeth cleaning the most basic of treatment. I will not go back .

Dr. Waxman is a gentle and expert dentist who knows his profession and his patients and practices expert dentistry. I have gone to him since he joined his Father's practice. I have had to go to other dentists from time-to-time because of insurance issues or living out of St. Louis, but have always returned to his care as soon as possible. I am a Registered Nurse and and Attorney, and work in the area of medical malpractice, so my standards about health care and dentistry are quite high, sometimes unreasonably so. But, Dr. Waxman has never had any problem living up to my standards and I highly recommend him as a family dentist.

Both my sister and I went to Dr. Waxman for many years...I only left him because I moved out of the city. He is one of the most caring and gentle dentists I've ever gone to. His office staff is also helpful and friendly, and I never had to wait for an appointment. His offices are rather small, and he doesn't seem to have the latest high-tech equipment and gadgets. But for basic care and cleaning visits, you can't go wrong.

I needed an emergency appointment, and even as a new patient they worked very hard to fit me in immediatley, on a saturday. Dr. Waxman was extremley gentle, and kind, which was important to me since I am a big baby. I had one emergency root canal, which didn't hurt at all after all the pain the tooth had caused up to that point. I was referred to an Endodontist for the second, adjoining tooth that needed a root canal, and that is the only reason I don't rate the facilities as high. (The endodontist had movie glasses, so you could watch a movie while he worked on you, and lots of high tech, equipment, though his chair-side manners left something to be desired.) The staff was great, and friendly, although I did find out a year and a half later that I had overpaid for a procedure and had about a 200$ credit no one had informed me about. All in all, since I am a big baby, the dentists chair-side manners are most important to me, so I would rate Dr . Waxman and staff very highly.

I have gone to Dr. Waxman (and his Father) since I was 8 years old, and started seeing Dr. Harold Waxman when his Father retired many years ago. Dr. Harold Waxman, like his Father, is patient, gentle, kind, and very professional. I have had multiple problems with my teeth relating primarily to accidents, and he has successfully performed root canals, extractions, and 7 tooth bridges on me. Because I underwent so much treatment as I a child, I am still quite anxious when I go to a dentist. Harold is always patient and gentle with my anxieties. I highly recommend him and his staff.
