I had a lapse in insurance and went without dental care for about 2 yrs. When I moved to West Chester I was told about Dr. Grabill by a work colleague. I went to Dr. Grabill and was a little nervous since it had been a while since I had dental care and I had been going to the same dentist all my life.
I was expecting to maybe have a cavity or two. After the X-ray Dr. Grabill came in and told me I had 10 cavities! She told my husband he had six. She did not show me the x-ray or explain anything. I was shocked. When I questioned her she said "go ahead and get another opinion but I assure you they are there."
Against my better judgment I went ahead and made the apts to get them filled. After 3 visits and 6 fillings I could no longer go back. My fillings were chipping, she drilled a huge gap between one of my teeth, and she used the colored filling when she told me she would use the white where the fillings would be visible.
After much anxiety I made an apt with another dentist. They told me I had no cavities! When I showed them the x-ray copy I got from Dr. Grabill they could only find 3 cavities. Needless to say I have 3 unnecessary fillings and went through much stress and discomfort thanks to Dr. Grabill.
About Hygienist: Hygienist was fine, but don't go to Dr. Grabill! She only wants the insurance money!!! She will tell you that you need whatever she can.
