Our family has been going to Dr. Dixon since he began practicing. He is so thorough, genuinely caring, and has taken excellent care of our teeth. He is very friendly and truly values his patients. I have recommended his practice to many and will continue to do so. His staff is also friendly and the hygienists do a great job of cleaning, and are very knowledgeable. They make you feel so relaxed and comfortable. His procedural assistant is top notch and so nice.

About Front Desk: Diane is really friendly and always makes you feel so welcome. She is very efficient.

Hygiene rating:

Hygiene time: 35 minutes

I know this doctor: As long as he's been in practice.

I was a patient at this office for 25 years. I take good care of my teeth and get checkups 2x a year. I'm proactive and solicit guidance from dentist and hygienist. I thought I was doing well until a new hygienist came in 4 years ago and noticed infected gums. She did a quick perio probe, MY FIRST IN MY 47 YEARS, and found moderate to severe periodontal disease, easily detectable in previous visits. I asked Dixon why this wasn't have been caught earlier (I now risk losing 3 teeth), and he just shrugged. The painless, cost-free procedure takes less than 5 minutes, and is clearly proactive dental care. It's recommended for anyone over 40. Yet Dixon never did one. It seems that in our litigious society that it would be a no brainer to document periodontal status. Sadly, after periodontal surgery and 4 costly perio cleanings a year, I still risk losing the teeth. I transferred my family's records to another provider immediately - and he never contacted to ask me why he was losing a 25 year patient (my wife was there for 40 years!). My new provider is far more advanced in equipment and technology, they file insurance, and provide network discounts. If you need proactive dental care, you won't find it here. You can do better.

About Hygienist: The new hygienist saved my mouth.

General teeth cleaning and complete check-up with X-rays and all were done in a thorough yet efficient manner. The staff was super friendly and excellent in every way. Dr. Dixon and his staff are the best I have come in contact with.

About Hygienist: Mellisa was the hygeinist and she was outstanding. She cleaned my teeth and took x-rays. It was a completely pain free, relaxed experience and she initiated great conversation too (Without being over-talkative)

Front office is very helpful. Dr. Dixon treated my son very well on our first visit, which was somewhat of an emergency. My checkup and cleaning went well, but I felt a bit rushed. My concern was not fully addressed and I am still dealing with it.
