Would not recommend this dentist. I had pain after crown procedure, and Dr Guice could not determine the cause of the pain. Finally I went to another dentist who diagnosed a root canal. Since the pain started a couple days after the crown was installed, I have to question why Dr Guice did not notice I may need a root canal before installing a crown.

About Hygienist: The hygienist tried to sell my mother a $200.00 Sonicare toothbrush.

Will never go back to him again.....he is good as a general dentist. Some dentist's try to have too many specialities and he is one of them. When your assistant does most of the work and you don't, that for me is just a little scary. He replaced a front crown. I was told the old one was not good! A few weeks ago the new crown fell out with my tooth. When the original crown was being removed his assistant was having a hard time getting it off. I felt that was his job as the dentist to have taken off the old crown, especially knowing she was struggling for over a half hour trying to get it off. I believe it weakened the tooth that the crown was on. He made a total mess of my mouth. Now I'm having an implant done with my original dentist. So happy to be back with Her.!!!!

Competent dentist but hold onto your wallet!!! Will recommend unecessary and expensive tretaments, cursory exams. Long wait times for procedures.

I have been to several Dentists over the years and I am extremely satisfied with Dr. Guice and his staff. Dr. Guice has been our family dentist for 2 1/2 years and we are very pleased with him. He is very professional, caring and thorough. He takes the time to speak with us during each visit and is one of the best dentists we've had. His staff is also very professional and makes us feel very comfortable every time we visit. Dr. Guice prescribed a treatment plan for me that took care of all my dental issues and every visit has been a very positive experience. Both of our children go to Dr. Guice and I highly recommend him for your dental needs.

My child has seen Dr. Guice several times, pre-school and after starting elementary school, for cleanings. Dr. Guice has been professional and kind to my child, and he had good ideas for ending thumb-sucking. He even returned a call once when he was traveling overseas and we'd left an after-hours message on Easter weekend because my husband was having bad tooth pain. My husband had never seen Dr. Guice, but he returned the call.

I have been seeing this dentist for several years. The office is very up to date with all the latest equipment, and the staff is friendly. However, my last procedure was to have a crown made and put on one of my molars. The novocaine began wearing off before the end of the procedure and when I told the hygienist, she basically told me to grin and bear it because the procedure was almost over. I had trouble with my temporary (couldn't chew on that side) and when they went to remove it they didn't numb me. It was very painful (on a scale of 1 to 10 it was a 12). Now I am having trouble (sensitivity) during my regular cleanings where they worked on the crown. They continually charge more than the insurance company will allow so I end up paying the difference. My husband wasn't given the choice of filling types when he went last time (they used the more expensive type) and we had to pay quite a bit out of our pocket to make up the difference. I don't reccomend this dentist unless you have money to blow and aren't really sensitive to pain.
