This was my second dental implant to try and retain a molar. Dr.Dodge said the bone graft material was improved. The cost was expensive and I had no insurance. The tooth deteriorated and I saw Dr. Alber in June who said to call Dr. Dodge and tell him the tooth was deteriorating and the graft was not successful. 'though the receptionist at Dr.Dodge's was sympathetic,Dr.Dodge never called and the tooth had to be removed by my dentist. Very disturbing!

I had grafting done. Lots of pain. Dr dodge was not sympathetic.

About Front Desk: They used to be good but so much turnover. He can't seem to keep anybody that is good. New staff is not friendly.

About Hygienist: Amber is great. Very gentle.

He removed a tooth with an infected root and put in a bone graft in preparation for him to put in a post ("implant") several months later. One month after the tooth was removed & the bone graft was put in I had such a massive infection that I had to go to an oral surgeon. Around 3 months later he put in the post (implant). 2 1/2 weeks later, debilitating pain began that radiated to the ear and down to the throat. He gave me nerve blocks for several days and said, "This is not an infection, so I won't give you antibiotics." It WAS an infection and my jaw ballooned out. I went to an oral surgeon who immediately said I had an infection and gave me antibiotics.
