I have had several procedures done by Dr. Kiran and found her manner relaxing, and the work was done with minimal discomfort.

Dr. Kiran is communicative with a peaceful demeanor. I have had numerous fillings, and a few crowns done with her. She is honest and works to ensure her patients comfort. Highly recommend her.

Over the course of 4 years of being Dr. Kiran's patient, she has gone from being very aware of patient anxiety to now being almost arrogant in her disregard of patient concerns. I have high dental anxiety which her assistants understand and try to alleviate, but Dr. Kiran won't even listen to it anymore, and in fact lectures me if I bring it up, telling me that it's my problem, not hers. Although she used to be very good at answering questions about a procedure, it's now hard for me to keep her in the room long enough to even ask a question, and then she rarely gives a complete explanation. For my first root canal and front tooth crown, she would give me only the briefest of explanations, taking about 30 seconds in answering. I had to look it up on the internet to understand it. When I push to try to get a more thorough explanation of a procedure she wants to do on me, she seems to get impatient and irritated. Her chair-side manners are very impersonal and impatient now that she's been in dental practice a few years (I was one of her first patients not long out of dental school). I do not recommend her for patients with dental anxiety or who wish good dialogue with their dentist. The first crown still does not fit well.

Dr. Kiran is a no nonsense dentist. She is pleasant and calm, but it is a no frills office. She will not go out of her way to sell you dental services. The office leaves a little to be desired decor-wise, but overall it felt safe and OK.
