He messed my teeth and broke crown 2 times ,would never recommend this dentist to anyone, very unprofessional .

I switched to Dr. Deutsch because I needed pain free procedures, and I was always white-knuckled by my previous dentist. I have received I think six crowns so far from Dr. Deutsch, as well as regular dentistry, and I couldn't be happier with them. It took done time until I was able to sit relaxed in a dentist chair again, but now I can. He has always worked with me in any way including giving me better prices on procedures not covered by insurance. He has a root canal specialist on the premises so I am always with his office. As long as I live within a few hours driving distance I would never switch dentists. He never talks to me in a condescending manner even though I could definitely be taking better care of my teeth. Anyone who has always feared going to the dentist (everyone?) This is the dentist for you.
About Front Desk: Very polite, don't make me feel rushed.
About Hygienist: Excellent. She also never speaks in a negative tone regardless of how bad my teeth are when I sit in the chair.

Dr. R. Deutsch is a fine professional dentist. I and my sons are treated with outmost respect . Whenever I had a problem , he was always there or send me to some where else so that I can have immediately health care. He makes me feel very comfortable and at ease when he works on my teeth. His staff are complete angels and very supportive. I can honestly say that I consider him as family because that is how he treats my family and me.

I have never in my life been treated like such a child as by this 'professional'. Each time I tried to ask Dr. Deutsch questions about my treatment, he got angry! Told me I should "trust" him. He never even fixed the original problem for which I had visited the office, and instead insisted I needed, and then shuttled me off to the Endodontist for a root canal! He left gaps between the teeth on either side of the root canal when he designed the crown, and a margin on an upper tooth that he filled. If you want new food traps, this is the place for you!
They are awful. Each time I visited, we had very unpleasant interactions due to the problems described above. You will wait a minimum of one hour after arrival for your appointment, and then receive mega attitude suggesting you should be grateful that he deigns to see you. Arrogant, uncaring, and in general, one of the worst, if not the worst dentist I have ever had, and I have had some really bad ones in my life.
Be warned!
About Hygienist: Never had a hygienist clean my teeth in two years of being a patient there, although I requested it several times. This speaks for itself. Thank goodness I had a Periodontist elsewhere.

Dr.Deutsch is probably the best dentist I have ever used. I'm not just saying that, I mean it! Extremely professional and pain free. Some dentist want you in and out, regardless of the amount of pain they put you through. Dr. Deutsch is the exception, not the rule. I travel from Mahattan to use his services. This should give you an idea of how much I value his services.
