My gum developed a pocket like pimple which was filling up with fluid. I was incredibly uncomfortable.
Turned out I had an abscess on the root of my tooth, which needed to be removed. We talked about options after it was removed. He recommended a small bone graft while the gum was open, so if I wanted to do an implant, we would be ready.
I do not like the dentist, ever since I was a child - just the smell of any office turns my stomach.
Glad it's over - still undecided on what I want to do, but overall I am comfortable with Dr. Mass and his staff. He knew there was going to be pressure, he warned me. Very good chair-side manner.

His staff was friendly, which isn't usually the case in medical offices. My appointment was a consultation, which I agreed to have x-rays done- it's been awhile. We discussed the findings and I was given options. Usually, i've felt pressured into treatment, but this was a different experience. Since there was no need to do anything in a hurry and I was leaving on business, we decided to revisit when I get back to NY in Sept.

I had veneers done with Dr. Mass, and my smile is now gorgeous and natural. My teeth were crooked and my bite was all wrong.
Not only do my teeth look great but I do not have jaw pain anymore. Dr. Mass is interested in all aspects of your mouth making it beautiful but also in making sure it is healthy.
About Hygienist: Ivy love her love her love her... she is the best. Caring, gentle, interested in getting your mouth clean and healthy and keeping it that way... They do cancer screenings also, which i think is great one less thing to worry about.

I came in 4 years ago to correct 2 front teeth (discoloration). He talked me into doing 8 upper teeth, saying that otherwise it will be difficult to match the color... i was very unexperienced at that time and thought that he probably knows better. At the end he shaved down 10 teeth... he said oops.. mistake. he also cut my gums. which is absurd. i know it now, but didn't think of the effect of unnatural teeth contributing to the gun recession at that time.. he never got the bite right and teeth came out to be bulky. The look is out of style. Teeth are completely not functional. the edges are not sharp and it wears down the bottom teeth a lot. may be he was planning to get me as a customer once more. I went to his office later for the adjustment. he only said that he is done with those, and will not do anything further, and if i would be willing to pay all over again he would take them out and sharpen, then re-install again. I was shocked at his open carelessness and rudeness. It is unacceptable and unprofessional behavior for a doctor. and it was expensi

Dr. Mass saved my life, he did a wonderful job fixing my teeth which i now get complements on every day!
