I have been a patient of Dr. Mello for 3 years. It has been a wonderful experience for me. Dr. Mello is a superb clinician and made my smile not only beautiful but healthier and more comfortable than it had been in years. Dr. Mello and her staff are so helpful. There were never any surprises about billing- everything was explained to me before my treatment began.

You can almost hear the cash register ring when you walk into the office! Although Dr. Mello seems skilled at what she does, her practice's goal is to generate $$$$, focusing on cosmetic rather than medically necessary procedures. There also seems to be some distrust - as payment is requested in full - prior to the completion of work. Work on multiple teeth can cost in the $15,000 range when a 3-side porcelain onlay can cost $1650 and a porcelain crown is $1750. Does not accept insurance. Her office uses the latest in high-tech. The exam room has a computer with 2 monitors - one faces the patient. She also uses low dose x-rays.
