Dr. Mondre did a crown over a root canal. The root canal was done in 1974, Dr. Mondre did the crown in 1983. The root canal was done by an oral surgeon in Forest Hills. I still have the crown - we are talking 32 years.

I have not been to Dr. Mondre since 1983 because I moved to Long Island. The crown he put on my back teeth in 1983 is still going strong!!! I have not had to replace it and of course I am happy with it. If I move back to NYC, I will go to Dr. Mondre or I will take the train to Port Jefferson Dental since they are great too!!

Dr. Mondre is a good dentist. He did a crown for me almost 10 years ago and also replaced a filling. The crown has held up well (I can't even tell which tooth it was on). The filling, which is about 5 years old, was also well done. He offered a composite material which I took him up on. In both cases, the work fit in smoothly with my existing bite. Both were done in a manner which minimized the discomfort involved. After my crown, he called that evening to make sure I was not in pain.

does not have digital xrays which provide a clearer picture of certain problem areas. recommended I come back to him for follow up work that I was more comfortable having a prosthodontist perform.

I was so happy to have been treated by Dr Mondre. The entire Dental experience was great. His staff and office was so professional. Dr. Mondre has sensational skills and knowledge. Now I understand the Art and Science of Dentistry.
