John Sobel is totally an ace dentist. I've had checkups, cavities filled, several crowns, root canals, and gum treatments. Everything was pain-free, everything was professional, everything works. He's a nice guy and he explains things clearly in terms a patient can understand. And everything about his office -- hygienists, assistants, and clerical staff -- works perfectly too. I've had a lot of dentists and a lot of dentistry for 60 years; Sobel is the best.

Dr.Sobel was caring, I have not been to the dentist in a while and was very afraid. He made all my worries go away . he spoke to me clearly and made me understand treatment. When he started the work i did not feel anything not even the needle to numb me.

About Front Desk: The front desk was amazing from the moment i walked threw the door. They made the filling out forms part of the appointment easy and quick. They also make you feel like family, not treating you like you are new. I am sure they saw fear in my eyes and all 3 started to talk to me about my day and the building so my mind would be off the treatment.

About Hygienist: The cleaning was deep and the hygienist was so sweet and listened to my concerns. I walked out feeling like I had a new set of teeth.

I recently had my first visit with Dr. Sobel after a long hiatus from dental visits (3-4 years). He certainly didn't judge my absence but encouraged me to keep up with my cleanings at least 2X a year. He was very thorough in his examination, as well as checking to make sure i was comfortable. He explained why i was feeling discomfort, and how I may take preventative measures. The office staff was very polite and warm, I didn't feel as though i was at a Doctors office, more like a five star hotel. I highly recommend Dr. Sobel and his staff. I'm looking forward to visiting 2X a year.

Dr. Sobel is a youngish dentist expert in the total redo of a mouth with problems. As a woman in her late 50's he arranged for orthodontry to re-align my teeth, implants for the cracked and damaged teeth ruined by night time grinding as well as a night guard. My teeth are beautiful. He also worked on my husband's entire mouth even though my husband is in his late 60's and a cardiac patient. He managed to stave off the inevitable dentures. He is a gentle, intelligent and keeps to his word reguarding money and time. He is not cheap. His staff is perfect...one feels as though one is in the hands of a dentist who has done the teeth of major film stars.
