I love Dr. Winston. He is the only dentist that can do work on my mouth, pain free! I'm glad I found him and have been going to him for apprx 6 or 7 years now. Even when he didn't take my insurance, I would still go to him and pay out of pocket. Thank you Dr. Winston!

Didn't spend 10 minutes doing my cleaning. I was not satisfied with the services, but decided to give him a second chance. I called the office to schedule an appointment, but the staff member who answer the phone was very inpatient, agressive, nasty and very unprofessional. She hung up the phone (Slammed the phone). I do not recommend this dental office for the lack of professionalism.

Firstly, Dr. Winston treats you as if he has to get to a more important appointment as soon as he meets you. He handles you/your mouth roughly. I had to get a new molar, so he fitted me with one, but didn't shave it down enough to fit my mouth, so I had to go back to him to fix it. A few months later, the entire molar came out, lifting up and down while eating regular, everyday food. After having to wait over a week for an appointment, he fixed it brusquely and then a few months later it fell out AGAIN. He is the worst dentist I've ever encountered and he should go back to school and learn new techniques as well as how to treat patients with more respect. The only reason I returned to him before was because he was the only dentist that my entire office and I could find who took EmpireBlue and was still accepting patients. It's been a year and my molar has lifted out AGAIN. Needless to say, I'm going elsewhere, no matter how much it costs me.

I saw Dr. Winston 2 times. The first time he did an exam and cleaning. He does his own cleaning an it lasted for 10 minutes. The next time he told me I needed a root canal. I asked for a referral to an endodontist. He was reluctant but sent me to one. The endo said that I didn't need a root canal. I would not go back to Dr. Winston.

Dr. Winston is an average dentist, not excellent, not horrible. His office is plain. His staff is pleasant enough. The good thing is that he does not treat for unnecessary treatments and tries to save you money. However, I get the feeling that he is tired and not very enthusiastic about providing top service.

I started seeing Dr. Winston b/c he was close to my office and accepted my HMO dental plan. Every time I visited, he was very pleasant and told me my teeth were in great shape. He would clean them with some kind of waterpik but he never scraped them (and I never complained about that since I remembered not liking teeth being scraped). In any event, recently I switched to another insurance plan, a PPO plan and saw a new dentist. She found 4+ cavities!!! She thoroughly scraped my teeth amd was shocked that I didn't have this done for 5 yrs. She found a huge cavity in a back molar that may need a root canal. I'm guessing that Dr. Winston somehow missed this and the other cavities and I'm very disappointed as I was seeing him 2x a year for 5 yrs. Each visit with him literally took 7 minutes or less and left me with a very dirty/wet face while with my new dentist, I'm there minimally 45 minutes each time. I'm very upset with the state of my teeth right now. I was always a little suspicious when he told me my mouth/teeth was great every time. Don't see a doctor that spends less than 10 minutes on your teeth. I'm only 31 and I might be losing one of my molars!

He's friendly and informative. Takes DC37 Dental Plan. If not for the dental plan he would be very expensive. Has some modern equipment.
