Chip is a great dentist and really cares for his patients. he does not push unnecessary treatments. My gum health is much better after routine cleanings and exams at his office. One time he had to do a composite resin filling. He made the whole procedure as painless as possible. His confidence does a lot to allevaite any patient anxiety. He seems to be a great person who really cares about his patients. He is truly interested in their dental health instead of just their payments.
He makes the exam comfortable even when measuring my peridontal pockets which are always 3 mm or less.

Dr. Nakamura has been my dentist since 1976. I have reffered many friends to him "including" my wife, One friend has been going to him for such a long time he died of old age, at a very young age.
His office professional and efficient. Always cheerful and insurance payment is "always" usual and customary.
About Hygienist: Penny , the BEST hygienist in San Francisco !

Dr. Nakamura is one of the best people I know. He always makes me and my family leave feeling a great. I recently had to have a crown done and Etsie, his receptionist, made a special time for me to get there in a half hour. I was at his lunch. Dr. Nakamura is not only a great dentist, but a wonderful friend. Anytime I have needed something, he has always been there for me

Dr. Nakamura was my dentist for a number of years. I left the Bay Area and returned some eight years later and was most satisfied to return to Dr. Nakamura as my dentist, which he is today. He is a delight and I am most satisfied with his professionalism.

Goes out of his way to handle emergencies. Quick, efficient, very personable. I am a physician, so I am careful to watch his technique, hygiene, sterilization, etc. I have found them all to be satisfactory. His office is just a clean, functional dental office with fairly easy street parking. I would be suspicious of a spa-like office.

My first visit with Dr. Nakamura was excellent. He gave honest advice and did not insist on doing x-rays even though it has been more than 1 year since I had x-rays done. I only came for a cleaning and check up. He was very gentle. From my past experience with my previous dentist, my jaw always ached after a cleaning - as if a hammer jack was used to clean my teeth!

Both the current Dr. Nakamura and his father have been my dentist my entire life. The advice is honest, the people are pleasant and I would have no issue with recommending them to anyone.

I'm very happy with my treatments from this office. I have been with Dr. Nakamura and his son Chip for the last 30 years. the office has been run by Chip Nakamura for about the last 10 years, and i have seen nothing but the best of care with myself having a few crowns and a bridge installed with no problems
