I went to this dentist because of a friends recommendation. I needed to have a wisdom tooth extracted that was giving me problems from a filling that came out. He has a terrible bed side manner. Never smiles. I couldn't afford to have an oral surgeon extract and he was extremely reasonable in cost. He was supposed to be low on the pain and discomfort level. So I thought, "who cares if he has a terrible bedside manner". He was scary. Small office. Smells like cigarette smoke. (I believe he smokes, if not, it's not a smoke free building and it's coming in the vents big time.) Office decor very outdated. One receptionist who isn't very knowledgable, but polite. It was a very bad experience. He extracted a root tip also when I specifically said only the wisdom tooth. He just said it needed to come out. He expected me to jump up and be peppy after the extractions. No sympathy that I felt faint and wanted to vomit, probably from the epinephrine in the several injections that were made in my mouth to numb up. A man of very few words (he has a strong polish accent) I speak polish and thought I'd lighten things up and speak to him but he wasn't impressed and could care less. No, I don't believe I'd go back to him.

I only saw Dr. Pasternak once for a cleaning and I will NEVER go back again. His office staff was impolite, the office itself was dark, dingy. Dr. Pasternak was totally noncommunicative and the cleaning was painful. A VERY unsatisfactory experience.

I had a full set of dentures made by Dr. Pasternak. The cost was reasonable and after a few initial adjustments have had no real problems with them. The front desk has always been helpful in trying to "fit me in" when scheduling on short-term notice. Overall experience was acceptable.

Ouch! No personality. I just got teeth cleaned and it hurt. Kinda dingy in the office. He is not very personable at all. My teeth still hurt and he wants me to come back for more torture Uhhh no!
