He was trying to sell us on treatments that we didn't need, then when we declined the treatments, he said we had cavities that we actually didn't have (2 other dentists never found the "cavity" that he said had to get fixed.) Then, he billed too way more then insurance would cover and his billing department never contacted us about the bill in the 2 years we lived in the area (even though they called our home phone to try to schedule followup appointments). After 2 years, they sold our account to a collection agency without ever actually contacting us about the amount we owed. Horrible experience. Avoid him at all costs.

I know this doctor: 2 years

Dr. John Chung is a great dentist, I reccomend him highly. A very high tech office with low radiation X-Rays and wonderful care!

I've been seeing Dr Chung - well, his office - for a few years. He's been a little booked, so I've been seeing his co-worker, which is a rotating position. They did a great job replacing my fillings without any pain. The business is clean, friendly, and they run a tight ship. Be warned, if you're running 15 minutes late, they may not see you because they're booked. The good side of that policy is that your appointment is never pushed out because someone before you was running late. My only negative comment is that I felt Dr. Chung himself was trying to upsell me on services I didn't need, such as *another* set of braces since my teeth have drifted a touch over the last 20 years, or grinding my teeth down a bit to make them all match up. My approach is that if I can eat, my teeth don't cause me any discomfort, and there's no infection of any kind on the horizon, then my teeth are fine. That's just my opinion
