Just moved back to Eugene in 2013. I have to say I am very happy to be back with Dr Lester and staff! He does have the most friendly and helpful staff. I have never felt rushed there. Dr Lester also explains what he is doing and why. I am doing this review after just.. I mean 1 hour ago having a root canal! Yes I would say...give Dr Lester a call.
About Front Desk: This form said front desk optional. Like I said they are tops! So helpful. This area should have a rating... 5 star all the way. By the way...cost is the cost not a lot you can do about that. While away cost was about the same.

I intially began seeing Dr. Lester after my pediatric dentist could not see me anymore because of my age. Dr Lester is a great dentist! The office is very clean and comfortable environment. The staff members are friendly and warm. I have a cleaning every 6 months, and a checkup. Dr Lester has provided me the following services outside of the checkup/cleaning arena: fillings, crowns and a night guard creation. His fees seemed a bit expensive for a crown, but after reviewing other rates in my area, I found that his rates are competitive with other dentists in the area at approx. $1000.00. I have only had one experience with pain (with application of the crown), but once I expressed my pain, the Dr addressed it ASAP, and the pain was reduced. My only negative comment about Dr Lester's office is that I wish he spent more patient time with me. A majority of my dental cleaning time is with the hygienist, and I get about 5 minutes of Dr's time at the end of the appointment. Luckily I have great healthy teeth, so perhaps he is needed for more serious cases (such as crowns, etc.) . When I had my fillings/crowns/mouth guard appointments, however, he was right by my side throughout the whole process. I recommend this Dr.
