At 71 year of age, I've had a fair amount of dental work and can say with confidence that Dr. Gunnell is a GREAT dentist: Very up beat and personable but his skills go beyond his chair side manner: He is very knowledgable with great hands and goes the extra mile to explain what he is seeing, options, risks and associated costs. Re the latter, he will actually tell you how/why to NOT do a procedure and save $$! With fillings, crowns, cleanings, etc. over time, I've NEVER felt pain; would be a good provider if you or a family member are afraid of dental work or needles. Over the last 2 years, I've found 'my dentist' and actually look forward to my annual follow ups with Dr. Gunnell.
About Front Desk: This group is outstanding: smiles, friendly and accommodating re scheduling. Front desk, chair sides, Dr. Gunnell and hygienists work as a team = very well trained and excellent coordination. Cathy up front is special . . . wish I could hire her away <g>.

About Hygienist: 2 cleanings / 2 hygienists. Both very professional and able to do a 'deep clean' without discomfort. Also provided good education and tips re oral care.
