Dr. M is an angel and so is his staff. I'm a Single, working female with no health insurance and not much cash to spare. I also have so many dental problems despite the excellent care I've given my teeth my entire life, I was just blessed with over crowding and impacted wisdom teeth and so on and so on. I got braces when I was 8 which started a 22 year stint of dental appointments, surgeries blah blah blah.
I feel very comfortable at Dr. M's office. His staff is definitly his family whether they are related or not. His main objective everytime I've visited is to get me out of pain. He works with me financially, he squeezed me in for emergency visits and doesn't take advantage of the emergency visit fee that I expect to pay every time. He also referred me to an excellent surgeon who removed my wisdom teeth. I had complications after the surgery and when I should have gone back to the surgeon Dr. M took care of my issues at no cost. He has made such an improvement in the quality of my life by getting me out of pain, I dont think he understands how big the special place in my heart is for him and his stafff. xoxo

Very Expensive. Charges over and above what insurances cover. Does not do great work. Have had to return acouple of times for recuring problems.
Recently after loosing a tooth he basically said your out of luck and would not even put a temp mount in prior to hear from my insurance company. Alot of talk but not good sevice.

Dr. Mestichelli was very nice and social. We talked about the Phillies (he's a season ticket holder) for a while and I found him and his staff to be very helpful. I had my front teeth crowned (due to getting hit with a golf club) and he did a great job of matching the color to my other teeth. I would recommend him again!

I've started seeing Dr Mestichelli back in 1982 and haven't seen another Dentist since. For the past 25 years I have lived at least 40 minutes from his office and have never had a desire to change to anyone closer to my home. Dr Mestichelli is always personable, and is very clear about the work he needs to perform and there is never any pressure to have work done. I never feel anxious or stressed when I know I need to make an appointment. The office staff is always polite and willing to answer any questions. Within the past year I have since stopped taking my son to a pediatric dentist and also take him to se Dr Mestichelli. For me, the drive is worth it!

A true caregiver for dental problems. I will continue to visit as i walk down the road to my braces. I think he will be great in proving me with the work I need. A very funny guy..:)

I am 56 yrs old and have seen quite a few dentists. Dr. Mestichelli is, by far, the best dentist I have ever been to. His diagnosis and recommendations for treatment and solutions to numerous dental problems is unsurpassed. His manner is straightforward and procedural explanations and are always clear.

I am very happy with the care and service of Dr. Mestichelli, who was referred by a friend years ago. In fact she moved to Jersey and was not happy with the Jersey dentists and now comes back to Philly just for Dr. Mestichelli. He is always cheerful and down-to-earth. I highly recommend him and his staff!
About Hygienist: The 2 hygienists I have been to are both VERY GOOD. They are thorough and take the time to explain and stress flossing!
