This was the worst dental experience I have ever had! Paul Woodbury put a crown on my tooth, but he didn't prep the tooth correctly and so the crown and bite were really high. Instead of adjusting the crown, he filed off my healthy upper teeth, without giving me any option to even say "no". All he said was "This is not a big deal, we will just file off your upper teeth, it is necessary". He ended up filing too much of my healthy teeth off and has probably caused tooth/nerve damage since it still hurts to chew on that side. Since that day, I have had excruciating sensitivity and discomfort in those upper teeth that he filed down. The worst part is, he then later denied responsibility for my teeth and basically lied and said that "my teeth were sensitive and painful like this even before I came to him." When I tried to talk to him, he refused to speak to me and had his front desk person (Sheryl) talk to me who was rude and disrespectful. This dentist is not only totally incompetent, but even worse, practically a liar who won't take responsibility for what he did and is just interested in making money. This was just a nightmarish experience and I would advise anyone to stay far away from this practice.

About Front Desk: Sheryl is terrible and just a horrible person considering how she acted towards me. She deliberately withheld information from my insurance company that the insurance company can vouch for, among other things.

Would definitely recommend this dentist. Extremely knowledgeable and professional. Nice. Been going there a long time. Very clean office and facilitiy equipment. Only drawback is a very rude receptionist. Good luck, Doctor! Hopefully she will leave, soon.

About Hygienist: Hygenists are good and open to suggestion.

Dr. Woodbury is the most gentle dentist. He creates a calming effect with his smile and reasurring way of speaking. The whole act of being at the dentist can be very stressful but that melts away when he enters the room and begins conversing with you. I have had crowns, fillings and many many checkups with Dr. Woodbury and I have and would spread the word that he is a wonderful dentist.

About Hygienist: Katie, the hygienist in the office is great. Wouldn't want anyone else to clean my teeth after having her.

A wonderful experience. Dr. Woodbury and his entire staff make you feel very comfortable. I would recommend this dentist to anyone. Very cool to be 14 stories up looking out over the Phoenix skyline while getting your teeth cleaned. Again TWO thumbs way up for Dr Woodbury and his professional staff.

Filling, Crowns, xrays, prophylaxis cleaning. Office staff is courteous, insurance estimates clarified. Paul Woodbury DDS is gentle, hygiene oriented, helpful in explanations in laymans language if unable to treat the problem, referrals are helpfully given. Works well with insurance and services maybe slightly over dental R& C pricing, but still reasonable with accommodating installment payments.

About Hygienist: Wonderful dental hygienist, helpfully tracks possible gum receding as age progresses, and always cognizant in requesting 'current' medical history of patients. I do not have information on what the current pricing allowable is on my dental insurance coverage, but I rarely have to make additional payments. Coverage through United Health Grp
