I wanted my fillings replaced. One tooth ended up being an expensive crown. I WAITED over a month for that tooth. They definitely overlook at this office. My last procedure was to numb the tooth, drill out the old filling and replace it with material the color of my tooth (white). It took 10 seconds to administer the injection. He left the room to work on other patients. I do like nitrous oxide (gas) to relax. At my first visit they told me it was free! We all know nothing is free. The cost has to be worked in somehow. They told me the same thing about a night guard. WELL.....kudos to them if this is true .....after all it is just a piece of plastic. I've had them made before and paid more than $300.00 for them. The last visit should have taken about 30 min. I WAS IN THE CHAIR FOR 2 HOURS! The chair side assistant was sweet and comforting. She actually filled my tooth after he drilled out the old (took less than 5 min.) and promptly left to go work on another patient. WHEW! I'm tired and achey and am in bed with a heating pad. Another thing......I always ask them to turn up the n.o. Never happens. At the end...I received a complimentary Starbucks gift card. WOW-WEE! So far I've paid $500.

About Front Desk: Professional but a little cool. Is it me? I don't think so. If I drank beer .....a cold one would be good right now.

I know this doctor: 6 months (family members for years)

Our first experience with Dr. Ron Hunter was due to our son cracking his front teeth off during Saturday baseball practice. We were fairly new to the area and had not found a dentist yet. A friend in the bleachers highly recommended him and called his office after hours from her cell phone. The office gave her his home phone # and said that I should call him right away. They took care of him immediately and we've been going there ever since. The staff is cheerful and professional. Dr. Ron Hunter and his son, Dr. Jeff Hunter, are the best dentists we have ever had.
