I absolutely love the service here! I am usually extremely scared of going to the dentist, however, Dr. Amsili is gentle and professional when he does the treatment. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs a dentist in the Austin area.

About Front Desk: The front desk people are so nice! The greeted me with a huge smile and made me feel welcome. They were extremely fast in finding my record files and they immediately knew what treatment I was there for.

Front desk:

Hygiene rating:

About Hygienist: I love getting my teeth cleaned here. The hygienist is extremely careful when cleaning my teeth. I could barely feel any pain at all.

I had an emergency....chipped front tooth & Dr. Amsili squeezed me in during his lunch hour! His staff was extremely friendly & understanding about my vanity crisis. I highly recommend Dr. Amsili's office!!!

I have had crowns, root canal, and routine dental cleanings. I was very pleased with my treatment and was courteously treated by the staff. They provided treatment within my budget and Dr Amsili was excellent in explaining the treatment before hand to eliminate any worries or unexpected expenses. I would give this office an A+ rating . Good job!

About Hygienist: I have had routine cleanings as well at this office and have very pleased with their service as well!

He is a cheap Dentist and crowns everyones teeth. He sniffs alot when talking to you and he has treated his assistants badly. His Sister works at one office and is habitually late. Read other reviews. Also has a high turnover of staff.

About Hygienist: My teeth were polished with a composite polishing cup. I should know I am in the dental field as well. Stay away from any omni dental office. TRUST ME

Omni Dental's billing practices are horrible! I have one word for you all, "Predetermination". Before you get any dental work done through these people, get a quote and check with your dental insruance. Also, don't fall for their phony "Consultation" fee. What a HUGE Ripoff. They charge ~$175 to take your blood pressure and to hand one a paper of pre-operative instructions. GO ELSEWHERE. I seriously could go on and on about my horrible experience with Omni Dental.

I do not know Dr. Amsili but have been a patient of Omni Dental Group on Hymeadow St. for years. I have finally made the decision to leave. The hygenists are friendly but I have finally reached my limit with the front desk folks. They are the rudest people I have ever dealt with and I would never recommend this practice to anyone. I kept hanging on because they take my insurance but nothing is worth the poor customer service they provide. I could name names but I won't...let's just say they need a major attitude adjustment. They do not care how they come across or how they treat customers. While I had a bad experience, I also witnessed 2 other customers get fired up when discussing their appointments, accounts, etc.

this man and his wife run Omni Dental - he runs the office and it is by far the worst customer service that I have EVER gotten at any business!! Sadly, Ive gotten better customer service at WalMart.... They require you to pay at least 2 days for any major services....which I did; then found out that there were several things about my proceedure and the cost that they failed to mention, so I cancelled and have been waiting over two weeks to get back MY money! Then - the office staff has lied to me repeatedly and the amount I paid was changed in their computer after they printed out my receipt.

I have gone to Dr. Amsli and omni-dental for routine cleaning and x-rays, but am finally switching. My entire family went regularly and hardly a visit went by where Dr. Amsli did not try to sell us something we didn't need- ie. surgery for my wisdom teeth which every other dentist has said were fine to leave in. Even when I told him I was not interested, he kept pushing it and had the receptionist give me a quote- this is after I said "no" already too. Also, omni-dental constantly switches which doctor sees you so you never know who it will be. The overall cleaning and many of the hygienists are fine but Dr. Amsli's attitude and pushiness really made it a bad experience.

While drilling the root out the bit did not follow the path of the root and turned out the side of the tooth. I suffered through 12 years of itchy gums and a metallic taste thinking it was just a cheap crown, when in fact it was a sign of an infection. Just recently I was referred to another endodontist and when he showed me my x-rays that is when I found out what Dr. Amsili did.
