Great dentist...explained everything. Made me feel comfortable.

This man's practice should be listed as malpractice. He has failed me as a patient. I now have to go to another dentist to seek remedy to my situation.

This man is not a good dentist. I believe most of these responses are either entered by his wife or close friends. I have gone to him three times for a clean, x-rays and an exam. The second time he wasn't there for the exam part but still charged for it. The 3rd time I went back revealed a very large cavity under a crown that because of it's intensity was no doubt there at the time of the second visit. Had he been there and done the exam and actually viewed my x-rays again he would have noticed this and saved me a lot of heartache. When this issue was brought up at the third visit and the fact that I may lose a much needed tooth over it. The doctor jokingly offered 3 possibilities for repair and one was to lose the tooth. Yes JOKINGLY! This man tries to be a comedian but is just outright annoying. At one point in the conversation he again in a condescending manner he pointed to one of his teeth and said"See it may be this tooth that hurts" and then pointed at another tooth and said "But it is this tooth that is really bad" What am I, 7 years old. This man must just love stroking his ego. In another issue on my first visit he tried to push me to get a partial, three times he brought it up, and also that he wanted to cap one of my lower teeth. When I brought this back up at the 3rd visit, he said "The partial wouldn't work" and about the crown he said (Again a condescending tone) "Once you alter a tooth it's altered forever" honestly, does this guy not even write down his dental plan for you in your chart. What a mistake it was to place my trust in this man and what a disappointment.

Honest and professional. Always tells me if it's something to be concerned about but never once has tried to sell me on anything except to floss. He really spends time and listens.

About Front Desk: Took care of all the insurance stuff. copayment fair enough. Polite and nice.

I went to Dr ferrells office today to get a look at my teeth because I was in insane amount of pain and was ready to go to the ER. My friend recommended dr ferrell and I'm so glad I called his office. I was in and out in 20 min very friendly staff and very kind. He pulled my decayed tooth out in less then 5 min I couldn't believe how bad my tooth was but it was no problem for Dr ferrell if your looking for a very reasonable and professional dentist then he's your guy. Also they even worked with me on payment and that's very hard to find these days. He cares more about his patients then money and that's why he gots me for life

Has been my & my family's dentist for a long time. Has even seen us on weekends. They have a new updated super tech office on padre island now. The other office is old school but homey. No hard sell. funny, nice and no pain.
