A friend referred me to Dr. Slate's office. I was fed up with the assembly line offices my dental insurance requires me to use. I checked her website and there was a coupon for the initial visit. I called and was able to make an appointment the same afternoon. Her office was nice, clean, and comfortable. The staff was very patient and accommodating in all matters, from the front desk to the hygienist. When someone (including Dr. Slate) didn't know the answer to a question they found out for me. They were able to do the exam and cleaning during the same visit, which seems to be unusual these days. I expressed interest in Invisilign, and she advised me why I would not be a good candidate and referred me to multiple orthodontics in the area whom she recommended. I plan to continue to use Dr. Slate as my dentist regardless if my insurance covers the cost.

Friendly, efficient, but some waiting time involved. Tends to push unnecessary tooth-whitening procedure. And could use some tastier gloves.

Dr. Slate is the only dentist I've ever been to who can give a shot with no pain. Her entire office is made up of happy, fun people who put you at ease immediately. She does cosmetic as well as general dentistry, and her office files with your insurance. A visit to Dr. Slate is hassle free. This is also a dentist who's not focused primarily on money - if you don't need something done, she'll tell you. She's very caring and does everything she can to make sure patients are painfree and comfortable during procedures. I look forward to getting my teeth cleaned now, and I've been a real chicken where dentists were concerned.
