I am wary of Dr. Cullen's skills as a dentist. I went there for a few check ups and they always told me everything was fine. I had the sneaky suspicion that it wasnt but who tells their dentist they want some sort of painful procedure done-not me! Finally, I felt some pain at one of the check ups. After Dr. Cullen assessed my teeth and told me I was good to go, I brought up the pain issue. He then looked at my teeth again and went "oh yeah you have a cavity" very nonchalantly-as if he didn't just completely contradict himself. Now I am sitting here wondering whether or not I want him to fill this cavity or to go somewhere I can trust. Another thing-no wait times at all for this dentist. You never have to wait long for an appointment and can schedule times in extremely last minute. This worries me considering most dentists I have gone to in the past are extrememly busy and require 6 months notice

Dr. Cullen and his office staff are the friendliest people I have ever encountered in a medical office. They are caring, honest, and do not over-charge like many dentists do. What I love the most about this office is how caring they are. They make follow-up calls to see how we are feeling after procedures and even send hand-written letters to let us know how much they appreciate us being their patients. You don't get service like this anywhere in this city. It's a joy for my entire family to know that we have such a caring dentist.

Dr. Cullen is all right but his assistant/receptionist/second-in-charge Yvonne is rude, confrontational, smart alecky, and snappy! She acts as if that little rental space in Palm Court is her royal realm and really seems to think that she is something special to all who enter it!

Dr. Cullen gets my vote for being a first rate professional. He did a thorough examination of my teeth and gums. Ex-rays were taken and he then did a thorough cleaning. Constantly checking to see if I was in any discomfort or pain. The staff was friendly and courteous as well. I had insurance and they handled all of the necessary paper work. I could honestly say that this was truly a painless experience. I would highly recommend Dr. Cullen to my friends and family.

Dr. Cullen is very experienced, and an excellent craftsman. This isn't a flashy society practice where a lot of cosmetic procedures are pushed -- Dr. Cullen is an old fashioned family dentist. He is blunt and plain spoken about what he finds and what he can do about it. His office staff are friendly, and quickly come to know the patients. The office is a bit worn about the edges. Dr. Cullen is concerned about stress levels and the comfort of his patients (I have asthma and some problems breathing and he is very alert to any sign of distress.) The front office handles the insurance, and will help an uninsured patient find sources of funding. There are flashier dentist's offices in the area, but I don't think that there are many any more competent practitioners than Dr. Cullen.

I was initially put off by the old decor through-out the office, but after spending some time with Dr. Cullen and his staff, I was extremely impressed. All the staff are very caring and I have only had very pleasant experiences at his office. I would highly recommend Dr Cullen! He was very attentive to my pain level and has excellent chair-side manners.

About Hygienist: I don't recall the name of the Hygienist I worked with at Dr Cullen's office, but I would also recommend his and his work. I felt he was very thorough, but also gentle!
