I made an appointment with Dr. Laymon for a root canal. When I first arrived, no one was at the desk to greet me. I waited for about five minutes, then had to walk down the hallway and find someone to check me in. The new client paperwork they gave me to fill out was almost illegible from being copied so many times and what I could read had several misspelled words. The waiting room was very sparse, as was the examining room in which I was placed, and the furnishings were rather cheap and shabby looking. The office staff could not seem to confirm my insurance, until finally someone realized they were transposing digits in the phone number I had given them. No one seemed to know what they were doing. They all spoke to each other in Spanish in front of me, which is a big pet peeve of mine. I never met Dr. Laymon, but saw her associate, Dr. Avery. She was pleasant and seemed knowledgeable enough, but the condition of the office and staff did not inspire my confidence, and I decided to go elsewhere. If customer service and atmosphere are not important, then I am sure some people would be more than satisfied with this office, but I was not.
