Dr. Higgins and her staff are prompt, friendly, and patient centered. My kids like going to the dentist, I never thought I'd say that. If you're looking for a dentist, I'd highly recommend Dr. Higgins.
About Hygienist: The Hygienist takes her time and is detailed. The receptionist is friendly, the entire staff makes you feel welcomed.

My kids and I have been going to Dr. Higgins for two years. Although I would highly recommend her, I'm not too confident with her receptionist. Past couple times Dr. Higgins has asked her to get preauthorizations for some work that we have needed and it never seems to get done. Months and several calls later, still nothing. I finally got our insurance broker involved just to find out NOTHING had ever been submitted. When I was discussing this with my sister (who referred me) she expressed she is currently in the same situation with this office. The Hygienist that I saw was wonderful, just like Dr. Higgins. So if you just need a cleaning, I would highly recommend her. If you need any work done, good luck!

Dr. Higgins is wonderful! I have been coming back to see her for 4 years now and I never have found a dentist I liked before her! She is congenial, calm, and I am never in pain. I made the mistake of seeing another dentist who claimed I had 8 cavities and would need 4 appointments to fix them all! Dr. Higgins re-read the x-rays and said he mis-interpreted them. My teeth are just fine and my insurance has not been swindled! I wouldn't recommend anyone better in North San Antonio!

Great! A very clean, moderate and pleasent office staff, Everyone is very freindly & welcoming.

She did not listen when I told her immediately upon installation that my crown did not fit my gum line. Told me gums would recover and not to worry. Gum line did not ever recover and now I have to worry about having a crown replaced.

Very nice staff. Good care and locaton. I have been a patiet for over a year and have had nothing but good experiences here. Dr. Higgens is very knowledgable and puts you at ease.

Mary Higgins did build ups for my son. We had a very poor experience with the dentist that we were seeing prior to finding her. What a relief to be able to find someone as pleasant, knowledgable and professional as she is.

We are new to the San Antonio area and had a hard time finding a dentist we trusted. I found this site and read the other three reviews for Dr. Higgins and was sold. My first visit was one of the most positive experiences I have ever had and this is coming from someone who refused to give up her Illinois dentist while living in Portland, Maine for 4 years. Another local dentist I tried first tried to tell me that they couldn't clean my teeth, since I had to have a "special" cleaning that coincidentally wasn't covered by my Delta Insurance. They also tried to convince me I had a cavity and wanted to fill it that day...funny 6 months later when I found Dr. Higgins, I had no cavity and they said my teeth were in very good shape for not having a professional cleaning in 2 years. Don't go anywhere else. Dr. Higgins and her team are phenomenal! You will look forward to your visits!

My 3 sons have been going to Dr. Higgins and her staff are wonderful and not scary experience for children. Very explanitory w/ what they are going to have done. There was absolutely no problem w/ the boys being frieghtened and they actually enjoy seeing her and her staff every 6 months for check ups. We are lucky to a dental insurance, so the cost is non-exsistant, however my husband had a molar sealed and that cost was minimal.

Dr. Higgins and her staff are wonderful. I have recommended her to another co-worker that had several bad experiences with another dentist and she now loves Dr. Higgins and the staff as well. She's the greatest, I won't go anywhere else.
