I had the worst dental experience of my life with Dr. Himes. She does do all the dental work herself with NO assistant, which became a disaster when she did my crown. First, she did not wait until I was numb before she started drilling. Surely a reputable dentist knows to wait longer than two minutes to allow the Novocaine to work. She was drilling, suctioning, applying water, everything by herself at once. Not a surprise when she slipped and drilled a one-inch in length cut into my cheek. Dr. Himes proceeded to tell me several times that it was MY fault that she did this. She didn't even mention that she cut me until I was choking on the blood. Sorry to be graphic, but AVOID this dentist at all costs!!

My wife and I have been going to Dr. Himes for approx 4 year. We are impressed that she handles every aspect of teeth cleaning herself. She prefers not to just show up at the end of the checkup to look at the x-rays like so many other dentists do. We recomend her with no reservations whatsoever.
