I had Hughes do my veneer implants and I have loved them! Any issues and he fixes it no problems as long as I maintain my 6 mo. check ups. My husband who had a horrible dentist had to have a ton of work redone and more extensive work done. We chose Hughes after we had such a great experience with me. Now all our 5 kids, 2-13 years old, that go to him, but one, which Hughes was honest enough to say needed a different office for her young age (she was 2 at the time and needed dental surgery) The expense is small compared to cheaper dentists that we have had nothing but problems with- from cheap fillings falling out, to bad office problems. I tell all my friends about this place :)

About Front Desk: They know my 5 kids by name, and have a treasure chest of goodies for my kids to pick from. They beg to go back to the dentist and all ask when their cleaning is.

Front desk:

Hygiene rating:

About Hygienist: Never had any issues :) My teeth feel great when we are done and they are great to listen to me if I am sensitive or when I want to push it harder.

Hygiene time: 30

While I feel that Dr. Hughes is a very good, competent dentist, he has a terrible office staff. Be prepared to call many times because they never listen to their messages and they never return calls, and then they will act as if they never got any of your messages or calls. It has happen several times to me. I can understand if it was an isolated incident, but from my experiences it has happened numerous times over the course of 3 months. If you have a dental emergency it will take days to get a response from them. I had a tooth filled that died afterwards. They even told me to expect it. Once it died, and I was in pain and needed a root canal, I had a complex schedule and they were not accommodating at all and when I kept asking for the dentist to call me, he never did. I don't think they gave him any of my messages, or maybe they did, and he decided to let the office staff deal with my concerns.

About Front Desk: Not a good experience. They are good at contacting your insurance company so that the office will get paid.

About Hygienist: The hygienist does a good job.

was a patient for several years. thought he was okay. however current staff is very back stabbing...lots of negative talk in office over heard in patient chair. also had several crowns which went bad. had to go to another dentist and that's when found out how horrible the work dr hughes had done. new dentist told me that crown wasn't done correctly and ended up with root canal. husband had a procedure go wrong under dr hughes where he couldn't taste/ and was numb for almost a year. considered filing malpractice as significant issue. he went to a new dentist for several root canals that were crowns gone bad from work dr hughes had done. I would stay away!!! also didn't enjoy knowing about his personal life which is quite questionable!

About Front Desk: don't get me started on office/front staff. overall toxic office...I have told all my friends and family to stop seeing this dentist due to the many many dental issues over time that have come up.

Dr. Hughes is the best Dentist I have ever been to. My family travels an hour to see him because he does excellent work, he works in a nice facility, his staff is great, and the over all experience is warm and inviting. I HIGHLY reccomend Dr. Hughes for any of your dentistry needs.

Great office, friendly staff. Dr. Hughes is established, but has stayed on the cutting edge - especially his veneers.

Excellent care. Long term care of gum disease and broken teeth. Goog quality work. Great chair-side manner. Wish he would accept Medicaid.
