I was pleased with how the bridge looked; however, I was very displeased with the functionality of the bridge. It is not tight, so it falls down every day. I am unhappy with the outcome of his work.

Dr. Ratner's office is pleasant, as well as the staff. Services are top-notch and he is gentle and accomodating. My only criticism is I sometimes feel his frustration if not following guidance properly. But don't let that stop you, that is a minor issue with an extremely competent and GOOD dentist.

My family no longer uses the services of Dr. Ratner. He seems to be far behind the times in both knowledge and technique. His hygenists and admin staff (including his wife) are nosy and gossipy.

My family and I have been going to Dr. Ratner forever, and I have recommended him to many people. His office is VERY clean, and he is a wonderful doctor!

Unfortunately, his facility appears to be clean but truely is not. He has very infrequent cleanings in his office, never cleans his sinks, uses cold sterile for burs, suction tips (the plastic ones) and other major equipment. He reuses his sterilization bags as many times as he can before they can no longer hold anything. Thats just his facility.
He does not believe in periocharting because he can make more money on cleanings if his 1 hygienist cleans 14 or 15 patients a day rather than cleaning 8 patients, 1 an hour. It is very important that you have a periochart done every year to track your perio history recessions, pockets, furcations, etc. His hygiene cleanings are ONLY 30 minutes and is truely not long enough to scale anyones teeth. His deep scaling and debrib. is only 30 minutes for the whole mouth as well.
He and his hygienist and assistants do not attend regular CEP courses to stay current with techniques, equipment and the latest research. This is not a facility to go to if you care about your oral care.
It is so important to care about your mouth because is connected to every major organ in your body.
