Dental Implant. Success not good. Have other implants done by other Dentist and have experienced no problems. Originally heard Dr. Midgette was one of the best.

Dr. Midgette is the best dentist I've every had. I'm one of those patients that really hated going to the dentist. I have complete confidence in Dr. Midgette, I rarely experience any pain due to the fact that Dr. Midgette makes sure my experience is as pain free as possible. I would recommend him to everyone. He takes the time to explain every detail even the smallest so that you know what he's doing every step of the way. Thank you Dr. Midgette for being an awesome dentist.
About Front Desk: The staff is very friendly and courteous. Always greeting you with a smile. Reminder calls are a big plus for me. :)

About Hygienist: The Hygienist are amazing. So friendly and caring. Very sensitive to your needs. They are spot on in helping Dr.Midgette with his procedures. I give these young ladies a big thumbs up.

Stay away from this office!
While the care provided was good, the billing and staff were horrible.
Prior to some fillings, I told them my insurance did NOT cover white composites beyond the first 6 teeth. The staff assured me the insurance company would cover it. The insurance company ONLY covers a reduced amount and I was responsible for HUNDREDS of dollars of the bill. Trying to talk to them about it only resulted in me being blamed, no offer to assist or compromise, only an extended period to pay WITH interest being charged.
This office seems to be more worried about being "right" than considering the bigger picture. There are many offices where they will give HONEST and complete estimates of the patient responsibility. Had I been dealt with honestly, I could have had the work completed in a sequence that I could have afforded.
Once my complete bill was paid, I cancelled my remaining appointments, and was asked why. When I tried to tell them, they could not have cared any less than they did. Good luck with them!
And be warned, all potential patients!

I love Dr. Midgette! I have been going to him since he took over my childhood dentist, Dr. Weinstein's practice. He is smart and personable and takes the time to visit and examine every patient that walks in the door.
The only hygienist I see is Harriette. She is absolutely wonderful! She takes her time with the cleaning and never scrapes or cuts me. She is down to earth and truly cares about her patients and their lives.
I would recommend their practice to any of my family and friends.

Pleasant office staff, very accommodating. The cost of procedure estimates are helpful and they are willing to set up payment plan, but caps and crowns are expensive. (Maybe they are everywhere.) My estimate was over $2000 for 2 teeth. My Novocaine shot was okay...not quite as painless as another doctor I'd been too, but certainly not the worst I've ever had either.
The office is clean, modern, and up to date.

Dr Midget was a good local dentist. After he built his state of the art dental facility, he changed, he does not want pt's in the chair very long and wants to get top dollar every 30 min. He would say out loud," He does not have cancer of the mouth:" as he looked in my mouth, because he was mad because I would not let him over charge me, i.e. x-rays. My teeth looked worse than ever and I got gum disease because of the fast teeth cleaning I received. I now go to DR Goldstein on Portsmouth Blvd. I could not believe how white my husband"s and my teeth were after our first visit. Dr. Midget tried to say I had a cavity, It has never been found with Dr. G. Don't trust a high society dentist. He changed!!! Thank God I got away from him.
He would also sent me a bill after accepting my insurance portion. I paid double that I was charged with Dr. G.

Only problem I had with this dentist office is that they done a procedure on my mouth that I did not know about and that made my bill extremely high. Before I got anything done I talk to the billing department and told her I would like to know how much it is before I get anything done. She told me and after the procedure was done it cost way more that I can afford. Now I have a high bill I have to pay this place and was not planning on. So just make sure what they are doing is right and what you can afford.

Dr. Midgette, is a very friendly person. He has cared for my families dental needs for years. I recommend him to all who are looking for a good caring dental professional.

This is the nicest dentist's office I've ever been to! Dr. Midgette puts you at ease immediately. My pain was minimal, my recovery was fast, and the results looked great. I had a root canal and 2 crowns - some fairly major work (for me), and I was in and out quickly. His staff is all knowledgeable, pleasant, and gave me all the info I needed. I've recommended Dr. Midgette to my parents and to my boss - that probably says it all.
