most expensive routine cleaning I have ever had, both financially and emotionally.

About Front Desk: I had never wrote a bad review for any business, but I had such an awful experience with the front desk staff at the doctor's office. She seemed to be very professional at the start, but then... first issue came up with she asked for my ssn and when I said I am not comfortable sharing that information, she refused to let me in, politely, and explained that the insurance makes them do this and without it they won't be able to even file with my insurance, which my insurance representative categorically denied later, saying that the information on my insurance card is all they need to reimburse the dr office, and that the office can accept any government issued photo id to verify i am in fact the insurance holder. first lie that I found out about too late. second, when I mentioned that my co-payment for the cleaning is always zero, she nodded her head and said that is why she is asking for my ssn, so they can charge the insurance, and it does not make sense that I pay out of pocket when my insurance will pay for it. it was clear that I did not expect to be billed for dental cleaning, and I had clearly said that I never had, but she still failed to mention at least that my expectations may not be true, or if she was fair, that they are out-of-network with my insurance. simply put, the mistake was mine for not checking, but she led me on. still, no big deal. they are not responsible to mention this, although it is inhumane. I agree that I should have done my research, and it is entirely my own fault that I got a bill for more than a hundred dollars, for a routine cleaning. but the issue is that after receiving the bill, when I emailed to find out why after the insurance reimbursement I still got a bill from them, she did not reply to my emails at all, and next when I called to follow up, she started yelling at me on the phone, saying that she has been doing this for 30 years, and that she had told me TEN times before the visit that they are out-of-network with my insurance!!!!!! and that if i don't pay the bill, they will send it to a collection agency. and believe me I couldn't have written a more respectful email, starting with thanking them for the service, etc. or be more respectful on the phone. Also, i never said that I would not pay the bill and that was not even my intention at all. I wanted some sort of explanation why i suddenly needed to pay over a hundred dollars for a dental cleaning, when I never had done so in the past 20 year and when my insurance already paid them over a hundred dollars already, and asked if the bill could perhaps be adjusted. All she could have done was to tell me that unfortunately there is nothing they can do, and it was not their responsibility to inform me of the out-of-network status, but instead she chose to be disrespectful and threatening. she put me on hold for a long time, someone else who were much more respectful picked up the phone and told me that they will talk with the dr and that the front desk lady will get back to me the next day, but she never got back to me... the week after, after I still did not get a call back, being worried about an unpaid bill and an unresolved situation, I had to walk in to their office to pay the bill, and she made a scene there too, calling the doctor out and repeating that she told me 10 times, etc. that they were out-of-network. at that point she was making the whole situation so dramatic (and maybe that was all a show and that is their way of taking money from patients, I don't know) but I felt sorry for her for being so short tempered, and was asking her to calm down and that I did not mean to upset her, which thinking about it now, I find kind of funny that I was apologizing to her and calming her down, when I was the person who were being lied to, shout at, and about to pay over a hundred dollars...!! :-) any way, I paid and got out of that office and will never be back, but I felt I have the responsibility to share this with others. Long story short, check if you are in network with them and don't even try to discuss anything slightly challenging with the front desk lady! good luck! :-)

I like Dr. Carl, he has a great bedside manner, and he's professional in his pursuits to clean and better my dental health. I appreciate all that he does, and besides all of that he is an understanding and compassionate dentist, which I highly recommend to others without a doubt.

About Hygienist: I really like my hygienst, she has a professional manner and when she speaks to me, she talks as if I'm a member of her family, which eases my general comfort level and makes me feel quite a home.

He is amazing, helpful, there to answer your questions. All around the best experiences I have ever had. I wouldn't let anyone else touch me or my child, but Dr. Carl.

I received treatment over the last 3 years from Dr. Carl. Annual X-Rays were taken in Feb. 2007. The X-Rays were interpreted poorly. Problems with 3 teeth were not detected with the excuse that the problems occurred after the X-Rays were taken.

Office is hard to find, too many hidden charges (xrays not covered by plan which are done without asking)
