Nice guy but a terrible dentist in my opinion. Almost always used too little numbing solution and would cause me great pain. Destroyed a perfectly good tooth because he worked on the tooth adjacent to the one in need of repair. Ended up spending my vacation in great pain and had to receive an emergency root canal upon returning.
About Front Desk: You better be knowledgeable as to how the billing system works. I had to correct the accounting dept. on many occasions that I was overbilled.

This dentist does a lot of talking but not a lot of listening. They are pushy with xrays and the crown he completed on me looks terrible. I am going to have to have it fixed at my new dentist.

I like the guy, but two fillings he did on me fell out a year later.
Also, they have a problem with billing in their office. Apparently I owed them one copay from four years ago and they never called me or billed me, they sent me straight to collections, and today was the first time I've ever heard of it. But the people are nice....

This is a great Dentist. They are not pushy about procedures that need to be done and are happy to contact the insurance to see what they will pay. They are also willing to let you make payments. Dr. Shapiro is very nice and has a soothing personality. He also has a good sense of humor.
About Hygienist: The hygienist are very knowledgeable, helpful, and can speak clear English. In my opinion there is nothing worse than going to a doctor or dentist that you can not clearly understand. It's great!

staff is helpful with insurance. available hours for appointments are limiting. Dr. Shapiro is very personable and willing to give time to really understand what the patient wants
