Dr. MacKenzie has taken care of my family's dental problems for six years. We put a sealant on my daughter's teeth and that worked good. I have had several cavities filled and four crowns. He was quick to see me, especially when I had a chipped tooth. I think he does a good job. I am especially happy with the sealants for my daughter. Did not know about that but that really works for us.

Dr. MacKenzie did veneers on 10 of my front top teeth and they are gorgeous. He was highly recommended to me by some of the pickiest people I know. I found him to be so caring and kind that I felt right at ease to have have him perform such a life changing procedure. I would recommend him to anyone who wants the best experience and results. He seems to really love what he does.

About Hygienist: The Hygienist Laura is fantastic. My teeth are always thoroughly taken care of when I visit her. She is very gentle, comforting and pleasant.

Very nice doctor. More than happy to talk with you and answer any question that you might have. Turn over seems to be high. Every time I go in for cleaning or procedure, there seems to be someone new. Not sure if it is the doctor that is hard to work for or if the office manager is the reason for the turn over.

Dr. Mackenzie has provided me with a good service over the years and has helped me to keep proactively thinking about my teeth. Most of the procedures have been for the treatment of cavities and cleaning with very good results. The admin staff has always been helpful and the office seems to be up on the latest technolgy. Another good point about the office is that Dr. Mackenzie has a good network of other doctors to talk to if needed and that is important. I would recommend this office to a friend.

All I needed was cleanings for the first few years so no red flags went up. I should have seen the writing on the wall when 90% of his staff left last year. Said I needed a crown and not a root canal. Said I was covered under my insurance with UHC. Put the crown on and it took 2 hours to fix my bite. They have new machinery and they don't know how to work it! I had nothing but pain for the next 4 months. Went back and he said I needed a root canal. He WASNT in my plan and the cap ended up costing me an extra 2k out of pocket. Since the same tooth "supposedly" needed a root canal it was going to cost me another $2500, out of pocket to fix. Very Shady! His wife is one of his aides that cleans your teeth, who by the way is also a real-estate agent and has her properties posted on the wall when you walk in. I always had a creepy feeling while in there but he had a good supporting cast. Also, I had a 1:00 appt and I sat outside until 1:20 while I watched them eat lunch through the window. I knocked on the door and called them 3 times; they saw me at the door and refused to answer until they were done eating. They dont deserve to be in business!!!!

Dr. Mackenzie is very personable and easy going. His laser equipment is wonderful and makes fillings painless. Something has changed in the past 12 months, though. His staff is different and has become stiffer and more difficult to deal with. The office has become bureaucratic and as a result I am moving to a new dentist.

Dr. Mackenzie has done my front teeth crowns twice. Once with great success, the second time with less success. He moved offices between the two, and records were not accessible so he could know what he had done the first time. On the second group of caps, he sent them back to the lab to see if they couldn't be made the way that I wanted them made. I don't know who was handling the cost of this--whether it was MacKenzie or the lab, but when I went back in. He put the teeth in, and didn't even show them to me at the end---in case I didn't like them--and went on to another patient. The teeth are fine, but I am still having trouble with one of the 4 as it is misaligned and therefore has to be reglued regularly. At the present time, I am now looking at needing a bone graft and implant from the bacteria that entered the tooth from the loose cap.
