I've used Dr. Doneskey's oral appliance for over 1 1/2 years. It has changed my life! No more fighting with my CPAP or dealing with the hassle of traveling with it. It's easy to use & easy to clean. He listens, he cares & it has been an extremely positive experience. I'm so glad a friend recommended him.

About Front Desk: His wife is at the front desk & she's also amazing! Very friendly, helpful & is able to find a way to work within my tight schedule.

I found Dr. Doneskey and his staff to be very helpful with my TMJ and snoring disorder. We have effectively treated my TMJ and snoring with an oral device that was developed by Dr. Doneskey. Most notably, I no longer snore and can sleep in the bedroom with my wife. A genuine success! After several follow-up visits and continued care from Dr. Doneskey, I am completely satisfied. I have been receiving treatment and using the oral device for more than 1 year with success. I had a final follow up this month. Dr. Doneskey and his staff have been great!

I have severe obstructive sleep apnea confirmed by a sleep study showing over 40 incidents of stopped breathing per hour. I have a night guard and have crowns to replace molars that I've crunched. I was put on CPAP, and while effective, I hated it. Really hated it. My ENT physician gave me two dentist recommendations to see about a dental device as a possible option. I chose Dr. Donesky who was professional and I considered his treatment. It seemed expensive, and I was put off that the office wouldn't handle the insurance billing. I considered this for 6 weeks or so, and finally discussed this with my regular doctor. She advised me Dr. Donesky was the best at this, and I consider her an awesome doctor so I went ahead with Dr. Donesky's treatment. The appliance worked about 80% with the first fitting, and 100% after a small adjustment on the second fitting. For me, it works completely and I am delighted not to be on CPAP. I use this in place of the nightguard as it has an upper and lower and holds the jaw forward. Once I did the insurance paperwork, they covered 50% which helped (Microsoft insurance). My apnea cure, while not confirmed by a sleep study, is confirmed by my wife. Highly recommended.

Dr. Doneskey provides a unique option for the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea. I am an internal medicine physician and I have moderate apnea as proven in a certified sleep lab. However, I could not tolerate CPAP because of reactive airway problems. A number of patients with this disorder also do not tolerate CPAP, for different reasons. The oral appliance designed by Dr. Doneskey has improved sleep efficiency and daytime alertness. Some patients who travel, and who find CPAP cumbersome, utilize this oral appliance for convenience. Over the six or so years of patient referrals, his analysis has been very valuable. My patients and I have appreciated his personalized approach. If you have questions (physicians too), please feel free to write me: seltna@gmail.com. Lee Antles, MD, Olympia, Washington PS: Dr. Doneskey's clinic is an easy comfortable, unrushed, professional experience. Comparing any clinic with a spa or 5-star hotel glitz probably does not address quality of care. The clinical goal achieved by Dr. Doneskey is just simply his personal excellence! LA

I snored most of my life and thought it was something hereditary - then went through years of TMJ issues. I kept having ear aches and the ENT Doc told me to go see a dentist. I fractured 3 good molars over a period of several years, requiring root canals and oral surgery. Then I went in for sleep studies and found I had severe Sleep Apnea - and spent over a year messing around with various CPAP arrangements that were not working. Additionally, I was chronically nodding off at the wheel, even napping at stop lights. Then after crossing the center line several times and going off the road into the ditch a few times, I decided to pursue the mouth appliance approach. It was a success and Dr. Doneskey basically has saved my life and possibly the lives of others. I have been using the device for over 7 years and would not go to bed without it. Yes, a bit expensive - but worth it! It is very portable in the mountains and maintenance free as opposed to the high maintenance CPAP, and actually about the same cost. It's up to the client to find out if their insurance will cover it. I can now drive on long trips and have not nodded off at the wheel since 2003 - and not crushed any more teeth. So, in the long run not that expensive.

TMJ Very expensive. Didn't work. Dr Doneskey seems very nice, but this cost me a lot of money for no results. The office person is also nice, but almost usless for billing insurance. I had to call at least once a month for a year to get insurance billed. I never met the office manager, but spoke to her on the phone several times. She is very rude. I would not recommend Dr Doneskey.

He charged me few thousend dollars in advance to treat my TMJ and make me an appliance (fancy name for a $300 night guard). My TMJ was cured after taking few muscle relaxor (and never ocurred again) and he spent the rest of the money by getting me to the office once a week and chat about his family. He wasn't able to get me the appliance after more than 6 visits in his office (he charged me for every one of those visits). Even he wasn't able to get me the appliance! he refused to pay me the money back that he collected upfront. He is more a scam artist than a caring dentist.

$500 and no answer to a reasonable question. Dr. Doneskey's attitude implies questions are inappropriate. Dr. Donesky prescribed a very low does muscle relaxant which dramatically reduced my nightime clenching. I have spent thousands each year replacing cracked and damaged teeth, despite wearing a nightguard. After spending $500 in consultations for this form of TMJ, I asked the question "What is the thinking behind prescribing muscle relaxants as only a temporary solution?" Dr. Donesky replied, "Why would you want to be on medication for the rest of your life?" My answer of "Because it's working," apparently was not reason enough to respond. He did not provide me with any medical rationale. Patients deserve to have their questions treated with a respectful attitude and to receive a fully explained answer.

Jeff treated my snoring & occasional apnea events with a dual-level retainer-like device. When worn, the device pulls the lower jaw slightly forward, opening the airway. It cost about $1,400, most of which was not covered by insurance, though an assertive patient can get their carrier to eat part of the cost. That amount covered moulds, preliminary appointments, and follow-up care. There was no pain and no side effects. Jeff's chair-side manner is excellent. His empathetic nature and genuine interest in the patient's life--beyond one's dental needs--is outstanding. Sadly, he probably missed his calling as a shrink and instead practices specialized dentistry.

I was referred to Dr. Doneskey and saw him over a period of several months without relief for my symptoms. I found it difficult to get him to hear the symptoms I was presenting and felt he was trying to diagnose a problem I didn't have. The treatment he did offer was not effective and he made me feel like I had a much more serious (and more costly) problem than I realized. I left his practice and was referred to another doctor who was able to provide relief of my symptoms almost immediately (two weeks of treatment), and I am now almost fully symptom-free after one month using a much simpler and less costly treatment. I would not recommend Dr. Doneskey as a practitioner.
