Dr Hanrahan is an outstanding dentist. Always patient and kind. If you ever have a concern about anything you can tell he really listens to you and immediately trys to resolve it. I've seen a few different dentists when I've moved out of the area and none come close to the level of treatment I get with Dr.Hanrahan. Ive had 2 root canals now with him and 1 emergency root canal that he did on his day off for me because of the pain I was in. Other than that Its been regular teeth cleanings and fillings since I was a teenager.
About Hygienist: The one dental hygienist I've had has been extremely impressive. Not sure of her name but I've heard her talk about having a teenage daughter. You can tell her and Dr. Hanrahan balance each other out well. She always makes you feel comfortable. She is gentle, clean, and understanding. -Natasha R.

Great front office staff! Awesome Dentist Dr. Hanrahan is. But,, he is a Bothell H.S. Alumni!!

He does not explain very well. You cannot tell if he is talking to his assistant or the patient. He does not treat the patient's problem, but rather attempts to introduce new problems to the patient.

Verry knowledgable dentist. Make sure your never in pain. If he is not able to do the work, he refers you to right person to take care of you. I've been with him for 10 + yrs

Dr. Hanrahan is the best, and his staff is wonderful. We have been going to him since he opened his practice in Bothell and are dealing with the same staff that we started with. We moved out of the area yet we still drive over an hour to Bothell for our dental work. I did try another dentist closer to where I presently live and had to go to Dr. Hanrahan to fix the filing the other dentist did. His work is superb and he is very easy to talk to. I highly recommend Dr. Hanrahan.

His staff is friendly and helpful. Dr. Hanrahan is thorough and explains things well. He recommends courses of treatment without "selling" them. He understands budget constraints. Thorough, gentle, helpful.

I was impressed by how much time he took to talk through everything with me and that he took account of my views in deciding how much work to do. I felt he knew what he was doing and that I could trust him. I have only had minor work done so far, but it is certainly successful. This was building up a back tooth. Another dentist had said it should be capped. Dr Hanrahan made the same suggestion, but as I had no insurance for this we discussed this and it was my choice to settle for a large filling instead. There was no pain, the staff were very nice and they were helpful in dealing with my insurance. He did a lot of checking at my first check up, including basic periodontal checking, which I had not always seen dentists do. He recommended a periodontist and spoke quite frankly about the need to be sure I had a good one. I felt he was not someone who would do unnecessary work... a relief after my discovery that some dentists do completely unnecessary fillings in perfectly good teeth. I certainly recommend him.

Very professional and helpful. Had several fillings done - doctor and assistant explained everything. Treatment and cleanings always pleasant. Can't say much about the cost - I have excellent dental coverage so my costs are usally zero balance. Staff is very thorough with billing, scheduling, etc. Highly recommended.
