I needed to find a dentist after moving to Seattle and was recommended Dr. Rotwein by a friend. Dr. Rotwein's staff have been very curteous and made me very comfortable. I was able to get an appointment in a short amount of time; another office offered an appointment 3 months out! My visits have been completely pain free, and Paul is very efficient. My fillings were done much faster than I expected. I am completely satisfied with my first two visits to Dr. Rotwein and have no plans to change dentists.

Rotwein is now the primary dentist at Greenlake Dentistry on Aurora. I started going to G.D. when Geoff Anderson owned the clinic. I then moved away for several years. By the time I moved back to Seattle, Rotwein had purchased the clinic from Anderson. Because I thought Geoff was a good dentist, and from a misplaced sense of loyalty, I returned to Green Lake Dentistry under Rotwein's care. Big mistake. At the same time he was peering in my mouth, he was reaching for my wallet. Every time I went in for a routine checkup, he invariably discovered new urgent (and expensive) problems that needed to be fixed right away. Eventually, his staff presented me with a long list of dental work that would have cost me thousands of dollars out of pocket. So, I decided to get a second and third opinion and was informed by both of the subsequent dentists that my teeth were generally in excellent shape and that most, if not all, of the work that Rotwein was pushing on me was unnecessary. Since I'm not a dentist, I believed what Rotwein was pushing on me at the time. In retrospect, however, I can see that profit, and not my mouth, was his primary motive. Also, he apparently had his license suspended in NYC at one time.
