Dr Sheppard needed 4 trys to get a simple fillings to not fall out. One fell out in less than a half hour. Then her crown needed to be replaced after a month. Considering the time, pain and cash, I went to another dentist who fixed the issue in one shot.

I had a crown break off about a month ago and I started experiencing discomfort and it was evident that I needed to see a dentist. When Dr, Sheppard saw the tooth she noticed that it could not be saved because the crown had nothing to hold onto. Instead of referring me out and making me wait she was able to extract the tooth right then and there. She gave me nitrous and continued to ask me throughout the procedure how I was doing. She is very diligent and very pleasant. She is the best dentist I have ever been too in a long time. Since this extraction was complicated there was more pain than a usual extraction would produce. she sat down with me and explained to me that every patient is different and experiences pain longer than others. She made sure that I understood that I should not feel hestitant to call or keep her posted as many times as I needed too. She also had to refill my pain meds and didn't make me feel bad about it. Some dentist don't even prescribe pain meds for these procedures but she knew my case was complicated and made sure that any and all questions were answered and addressed. She has gone out of her way to make sure that I was comfortable at all times. She is nothing short of caring and efficient. I love her

About Hygienist: The hygentist was awesome as well. She sad with me while I was waiting to be seen and gave me a blancket and made sure I was comfortable. Everytime I came to the office she would see me from behind the counter and remembered me and has been very personable. Between her and Dr. Sheppard I feel like I have team that is there for me at all times and genuenly cares about my comfort and health.

Dr. Sheppard did not find a cavity that was causing me some pain. She also filled one and that kept falling off. Then when I didn't reschedule, her staff (including her hygenist, Alla--very nice, but a little scary) called me incessantly to schedule a check-up. I finally had to tell them that as an adult I am fully capable of scheduling my own appts and to please not call me anymore. My husband continues to see her with lss than rave reviews...but he has perfect teeth and is too lazy to find someone new. I don't recommend them at all. I've also had issues with their billing department. They don't appear to be very organized.

About Hygienist: Alla is a very, very nice person and scares me at the same time. I do give her full credit for scaring me into flossing daily as it is a great habit to get into. She really gets your teeth clean, but less than gentle. My husband dreads seeing her because she's a bit gruff, but again very nice.

My family and I visited her for 3 years. To start with, my wife had two crowns done which kept falling off, etc. Eventually they had to be redone by another dentist. Then I had such horrible experience with her that thinking about it years later still haunts me. She never deteced a decay that was going on for years, resulting in a lot of pain and a root-canal. When I started to ask questions, she denied and then she threw me out, accusing me of harrassing her. I will never forget how badly I was treated. When someone you trusted turns on you, it's a shock. It was so hurtful that I cried right at her office and all the way home. What a nightmare it was...

Dr. Sheppard has been excellent over the years for my family. She is very delightfull to be around and very good quality of serverice.
