I was sprayed with water numerous times. he seemed rushed and irritable. I have never felt so unsafe in the hands of a dentist and I have had a lot of dental work over the years. He makes his own crowns and I now have a food catcher there around that crown. I have decided to change dentists and I would definitely not recommend him.

About Front Desk: I was initially quite pleased with the office staff. However, when I requested to transfer to another dentist, they did not send the exrays and I had to make a second request to have records sent.

Dr. Altman's office excels at unprofessionalism, poor customer service, lecturing, and condescension. I had a broken tooth than needed a root canal, so I called Dr. Altman. When I arrived for my 8am appointment, the receptionist said to me, "Oh hi, you actually showed up." I'm not sure what she meant by that, but I responded, "You thought I wouldn't?" There was no reply. A dental hygienist or assistant took an x-ray without exchanging much conversation. After that, Dr. Altman rushed in. He barely greeted me. He introduced himself as "Dr. Altman," briefly shook my hand, and before I could finish "Hi, I'm David. Nice to meet you," he rushed into a lecture about how I could have "avoided all this by coming in 6 months earlier, but you had to wait until it needed a root canal." Dr. Altman, my tooth broke only three months ago - a fact you could have learned if you took the time to talk to me. Also, I have no insurance and couldn't afford to come in right away. He rushed out and left the assistant to schedule an appointment for me - at 7am on a Tuesday. I later cancelled that appointment and received a very condescending lecture from the receptionist about cancelling. Dr. Altman's office was unfriendly at best. I will not return.

About Front Desk: I was left with a bad feeling about Dr. Altman, so I called at 8:30am on Monday to cancel. The receptionist lectured me about how "in the professional world I need to give more notice." and that she'd charge me a fee for not giving 24 hrs notice. "22.5 hrs isn't enough for you?" I said. "You should have called before 7," she said. I replied, "The office hours posted on your website state that you don't open until 8am on Mondays and you're closed on Sundays!" She said that just this once she'd waive the fee, and I assured her it will never happen again because I will never visit their office again.

I had a very painful root canal and he came in on a weekend and did it for me. Dr, Altman is one of the most gentle dentists I have ever had work on my teeth! :-)

This dental office is very helpful when it comes to helping with insurance payments. Sue, in the front office, is very knowledgeable, with all questions I have, and she does a very good job of reminding you when your appointment is. This office has a wonderful staff of hygeinists, who make you feel very comfortable. Dr Altman, himself, is very good at what he does. He has provided me with an implant, which has helped me stop grinding my teeth at night. He also is responsible for removing all four of my wisdom teeth, with no problems. I would definitely recommend this dental office to anyone, regardless of financial availability.

Dr. Altman is a true professional. He is highly skilled in the artistry of tooth maintenance and repair. His calm demeanor makes for a comfortable, safe experience. I trust the care of my entire family to him.

Dr. Altman pulled three teeth for my 8 year old daughter and he made it such a pleasant experience for her. She had some anxieties going into the office about having teeth pulled but came out bragging about the experience to her brothers. Dr. Altman put her at ease and made the experience as close to pain free as possible. I appreciated both the doctor, his assistant and Sue at the front desk - very accomodating.

The office staff is incompetent. They ruined our otherwise perfect credit for years by losing a payment from our insurance company and never letting us know of an outstanding bill although we continued to see the dentist. We found out by getting served court papers. We got a letter from the dentist stating he would fix the problem. He never did. Thanks alot!

Dr. Altman and his staff not only treated me very well, but they made me feel very comfortable. For years, I have had a fear of going to the dentist, but Dr. Altman put me at ease right away. He was very gentle and the procedure that I had to have done was virtually painless! He explained exactly what he was doing before he proceeding, which helped me to make an informed decision with the options given to me. The front office staff have been so friendly and accommodating! All in all, it was a pleasant experience. I have recommended Dr. Altman to all of my friends and will continue to do so.
