Dr.Scott Podlesh placed a dental implant to replace one of my teeth. I started having excruciating pain right away. First, OS Scott Podlesh started threatening my parents that he would sue me if I insisted that the dental implant he placed causes unbearable pain. Then, OS Scott Podlesh referred me to UCSF, because he is affiliated with UCSF. The Oral Surgeons at UCSF refused to remove my dental implant after speaking with OS Scott Podlesh. Over the years, my pain kept getting progressively worse. The UCSF doctor kept sending me emails that nothing is wrong. I finally managed to get a referral to Stanford. I was informed the dental implant Oral Surgeon Scott Podlesh placed cause permanent damage to the V3 brach of my Trigeminal nerve. I ended up loosing my career and am currently on SSDI. The UCSF doctor found out and started sending me emails she has never seen a nerve response like mine due to the placement of a dental implant. I am part of a forum called TN due to dental surgery injuries. And there are several other people who sustained nerve injuries due to dental implants. And dental implants placed by UCSF affiliated Oral Surgeons.

I had three teeth extracted. I have to say this, I was so impressed with the customer service at Dr. Podlesh's office. The staff is just wonderful. My surgery went quickly and painlessly. Dr. Podlesh was great! He's funny (which sure helps when you're nervous) and he is very caring and gentle. If I need any further oral surgery, I will return to Dr. podlesh and I highly recommend him. He offers a 10% discount for cash. I appreciate ANY discount :) To extract and clean the infection from my three broken, abscessed teeth was $800.

I had a failing root canal with an abcess. After Dr. Podlesh pulled the tooth, he told me I am an excellent candidate for a dental implant. After he placed the implant, I had an infection and the gums started bleeding. Another dentist placed a crown, which wouldn't stay. The other dentist said my gums are not strong enough for an implant, and refunded the money I had paid for the crown. Dr. Podlesh was only afraid about a lawsuit from me, not at all concerned about the pain. I went to Valley Medical Hospital. The Neurologist said my trigeminal nerve is damaged. And the nerve won't heal unless the implant is taken out. I went to see 3 other Oral Surgeons right away. Dr. Podlesh told them there is nothing wrong with the implant, and the other Surgeons refused to take it out. Now, it has been awhile, and the bone around the implant has swelled up the gums are bleeding. Every Oral Surgeon I go to says the Surgeon who placed the implant should take it out. Other Oral Surgeons said the implant is to long, sitting on a nerve, and should be taken out. But they say it's to risky and the one who placed the implant should take it out. I am in so much pain, I once blacked out and got into a car accident. Dr. Podlesh did not even care about the pain from the beginning. If anyone can help me, please contact me.

Dr. Podlesh and his staff came through when I really needed them. I was referre to him by Dr. Fukawa when Dr Fukawa realized that my abscessed tooth was beyond saving. Dr. Podlesh aggreed to see me at 5pm on a monday, when his office was already in the process of closing, and then once he diagnosed my condition and realized that the tooth neede immediate removal, he and his staffed stayed after hours to accomplish the task. The follow up care was also cheerful, excellent and effective. I can highly recommend Dr. Podlesh to anyone needing his services.
