To start, if I could give zero stars, I would. My wife was scheduled to have 3 wisdom teeth removed. During the procedure, she was given anesthesia that DID NOT work properly. SHE FELT EVERYTHING! I heard her crying loudly from the waiting room, mid-procedure. When I confronted the doctor about the crying, he said that is how some people react to when their coming off of anesthesia. However, that was 10 MINUTES before he came out to tell me that she was finished. Which means, he knew she was in pain, and LIED to me about it. The nurse who was in the room was rude to both me and my wife after the procedure, indicating that she would NOT remember what was discussed, and that she DID NOT feel anything. Yet, she was able to recant everything to me afterwards, and sure as ever FELT the PAIN during the procedure. When she went back to the doctor, and told him everything, he said that he would NOT refund our money that we spent on anesthesia (over $1000), because she signed off on a line that stated she might feel pain. May feel pain? Maybe that should be more clearly stated to patients before the doctor starts, because she was nervous and riddled with anxiety. She was also immobilized from the anesthesia, so she could not voice it.

My mom is 83 w/ numerous afflictions, including polymyalgia. She is a difficult patient. Dr. Doner and his staff were an answer to prayer. My mom needed a painful rear tooth extracted. Even w/ unusually high amount of Novacaine, my mom was borderline "anxiety attack". Dr. Doner was a seasoned pro. He never lost his cool, spoke to my mom throughout the procedure and even used "deflection" (a tool only seasoned and sensitive know how to use) and even let her grab his hand. The tooth came out "before we knew it". My mom was relieved and happy and I was impressed and glad. The charge was super reasonable for the area. This doctor is "old-school". We got thorough and simple verbally and written post-op instructions and an after hours phone # in case. My mom is three days since the procedure, healing well, no complications. Office called yesterday to check on her. Couldn't recommend more highly.

About Front Desk: Yvette was friendly and accomodating w/ the set of appointment and Aris (short for Aristotle!) was like his name. A great team.

I know this doctor: My mom was a new patient.

Dr Doner doesn't sedate the patient like he says he is going to...both my son and daughter were told they would be in a "twilight" sleep and that did not happen. They were both wide awake and could feel everything. At one point, the doctor got so aggravated with my daughter because she was so uncomfortable and couldn't sit still, that he pulled all the instruments out of her mouth and said "What? Why are you so upset? I gave you two doses, you don't feel pain, just pressure!"...which she tried to explain to him that she was feeling pain and he said she was wrong and there was no reason for her to be this upset! Both my children cried through the procedure and will never forget the horrendous experience!
