Dr. Momtaheni was our third opinion for my son's medical issue. My son was in pain with many other symptoms including impending permenant damage to his face, teeth, jaw etc. We went to two doctors before getting a recommendation for Dr. Momtaheni. As soon as we started discussing my son's condition we both knew this was the most competent doctor for the complicated procedure. But, I also checked him out online and saw his outstanding credentials and experience in the field. Our visits were thorough, informative and professional. I researched the surgical procedure myself beforehand. Dr. Momtaheni explained everything regarding the procedure with a presentation including clear visual and comprehensive explanations. We left his office knowing we were in good hands. At the hospital he was with us pre op, and post op. He also came to me in the waiting room to fill me in on how the procedure went and how my son was doing. I am satisfied and relieved to have found this doctor. I highly recommend Dr. Momtaheni. Get your two or three opinions and then see what Dr. Momtaheni has to say. He is by far the most competent in his field.

Stay away from this dentist!!!!! I was reffered to this dentist and had extraction surgery. His pain management was awful and I had so much pain during a surgery. I couldn't say anyting during a surgery (b/c had to keep opening my mouth) but tried to tell him that it's hurting!!! with making a face and hand, but he just ignored me and he was mumbling to himself that I have ZERO tolerance and how I could give a birth....etc as he kept doing this surgery with angry and cold face. This was totally unacceptable as a human being and I got deep traumatic experience by this dentist. Don't trust his fake smile. He is such a person. at least he did this to me. (from my real experience)

Seem expensive to me but then I don't make much money. Some kind of payment plan would have made life much easier for me as I have had to go into debt to pay for them. However, He is extremely conscientious and competent. Bit condescending I found but will explain everything he is doing and is very likable for the most part. Assistant was very good. Am having to do one implant from ten years ago over due to bone loss. not his fault obviously but he feels that he needs to put two in, which is much more costly. Upsetting and prolongs the whole procedure. But I do like him and would not go anywhere else. Only beef is no payment plan available. Highly recommended.

I went to Dr. Momtaheni for two implants--insertion of pegs. A molar had to be extracted first and a bridge removed. The original procedure was done on July 3, with a follow-up on July 30. I phoned to see the doctor, before a scheduled appt. because my jaw was still painful. I have four implants done on the upper jaw by another dentist, considered one of the best in the field. The difference in competence and pain have been notable. He was inefficient in administering novocain. I have experienced more pain than I expected from my earlier experience. My regular dentist will finish consisting of teeth replacement and bridge. I went to Dr. Momtaheni, because his cost seemed less than others I checked. I probably did save about $500-1,000, but only because I forego some options. I would never go to this dentist again. It will be some time before the success of my treatment will be determined.

Dr. Momtaheni needs better office staff; the paperwork for two office visits were incorrectly completed, and rejected by my insurance company. His choice to not accept assignment is rather inconvenient, and puts the onus on the patient to justify the fees charged for the procedures.

I went to Dr. Momtaheni with an unexplained condition on my tongue that neither my dentist, peridontist or GP could diagnose. Dr. Momtaheni took one look and knew instantly what my condition was. He prescribed meds and I was better within days. Not only did he end my suffering, but he was very reassuring and really put my mind at ease. Would recommend him absolutely!
