I had upper jaw surgery, wisdom teeth removed, and Genioplasty done to me. Dr. Alperin is a very smart, resourceful man, and he makes sure to tell you straight up how everything is going to pan out. My surgery lasted about 3 hours, and it was a wonderful experience. Dr. Alperin made sure to check on me when he had the chance. I am now 7 months post surgery and my mouth has never looked better. He's a miracle worker! I would definitely recommend him for any oral problems!

About Front Desk: The front desk was always very helpful, made sure to give their full attention to the patient.

He removed my wisdom teeth and the wisdom teeth of other family members (mother, father, brother, etc.) He did well with the wisdom teeth but unfortunately, I can't say the same for my correctional jaw surgery. He was a few millimeters off to where my jaw should be and I have had to reconsider getting it redone. My jaw does not fit correctly but thanks to a great orthodontists, I shouldn't have to get the surgery redone. Part of my jaw and lip are still numb and may never recover to full feeling. He has been uncaring and seems to be loosing it a little bit. After having a surgery like that, my bite should be immaculate. He seems to be more interested in showing me pictures of the safari's he has been on and the vacations he has taken.

dr. Alperin pulled my wisdom teeth when i was 18 . I woke up in a room alone after coming out of anesthesia. I was crying and blood was dripping down my shirt and I had a fat lip above my right front tooth. I staggered out of my chair and found my mom in the waiting room and left. I went back to have my stitches removed . he did not acknowlege me and proceded to pull my stitches out while flirting and talking with his assistants . Within 3 mos I was having a root canal to my right front upper tooth.Iwas asked by the new oral surgeon I went to wether i was punched in the face I said" no but the oral surgeon pulled my wisdom teeth and I had a fat lip above my right front tooth". I am 49 now and a Registered Nurse who knew Scott's father who was affiliated w/ Suburban hospital. I Can't get over him being a 5 star orthodontist. He cost me the loss of my right front tooth and to an 18 year old female that is Big deal. He should have admitted his mistake . his mistake cost me over 1,000. and at 18 that's a lot of money . My daughter is 16 and needs hers pulled and I saw a dr. Fried as an oral surgeon who I won't be going to because Alperin is also in his office

Dr. Alperin did mandibular setback surgery for my teenage daughter. Procedure was quick, and virtually painless (with compared to comparable surgery),. Nerve disturbance was completely resolved by two weeks post surgery. (Nerve disturbance is a virtual certainty with this particular surgery. The standard expectation is that it takes several months to resolve and that it never resolves for a portion of patients.) She started the school year 6 days post surgery and none of her classmates even noticed that she was recovering from major surgery. Dr. Alperin provides practical assessments and recommendations that realistically balance the added benefits of more extensive surgical treatment against the added risks associated with additional surgery (orthodontist and 1st consult recommended surgery on both jaws). I wholeheartedly recommend this gifted surgeon.

Dr. Alperin did my treatments and surgery for my TMJ/Arthritis problem. He was absolutely wonderful. His manner and compassion are top notch! After my surgery, he called and made sure that I was doing okay and answered all questions on a lay person's level. I highly recommend him and his staff!
